When I first purchased one of these products it worked amazingly well, but when I needed to move the tube it ripped the paint right off the wall. So now I use the velcro command hooks instead of the onboard adhesive and now it works like a charm. tl;dr: This works really well, just make sure you know where you want to stick it on the wall and never ever move it.

Love + Hate

I love the overall esthetic and the fact that it’s very easy to use, but once it’s placed on the wall it isn’t coming off without ripping off the first layer of drywall and paint. Very frustrated by this.

While it can be difficult to remove, there are a few tips and tricks that can help you remove the channel without damaging walls. To remove from the walls, we recommend an adhesive remover, which is citrus base. (Such as Goo-B-Gone) If the product is horizontal, apply the adhesive remover along the top against the wall & wait a while; then use a putty knife to work it off the wall.
