When I first purchased one of these products it worked amazingly well, but when I needed to move the tube it ripped the paint right off the wall. So now I use the velcro command hooks instead of the onboard adhesive and now it works like a charm. tl;dr: This works really well, just make sure you know where you want to stick it on the wall and never ever move it.

Just spring for the new ones though. Open box excellent was pretty roughed up for these. Never usually had problems with best buy open-box description but these were in pretty heavily used shape.
