The way to go for hiding external wires
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Excellent for hiding wires. Very thin profile and blends in perfectly. Doesn’t draw attention which is nice.

Wirenold kit
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. If you're unable to or not willing to drill holes in your walls to run wires, this is the kit for you. I'm currently using the Wiremold kit to cover speaker wires from my Atmos speakers. Very easy to use, just make sure that you buy at 2 kits to have enough coverage for a speaker pair.

Works great, esp for beginners
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I have a puppy a.k.a. Infant so I have to baby proof my home by hiding all cords. I have only done 1 so far, but this worked great and was easy to put on the wall/configure. “Hardest” part was cutting the long strips to fit what I needed, I ended up using a carving kitchen knife, which works perfectly. Just wish there were more corner pieces, instead of just 2.

Q: QuestionDoes this conceal cords on the floor? Entry way between rooms
Asked by 9809.
- A:Answer The Cordmate II is not suitable for use on the floor. However, we offer the Corduct Overfloor Cord Protector for that purpose. Below is the URL for the web page where you can see more details about the Corduct on the Legrand web site. https://www.legrand.us/wiremold/at-home/cord-organizers-and-covers/corduct-overfloor-cord-protectors/cocp-corduct-cord-organizer.aspx

Q: QuestionIf I have to move it will it remove paint from wall and remain sticky for new location?
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer The adhesive provided on the Cordmate II, as well as our other raceways, bonds to the wall quite strongly. This is very desirable in most applications. However,if you try to remove the Cordmate II from the wall after it sticks it is likely to cause some damage. It will either leave behind a residue which will be difficult to clean or pull some of the surface of the drywall with it as it comes off. If that happens, here as some suggestions as to what you can do to remove the tape residue: The double-sided adhesive used on the back of the raceway has a foam core that can be cut with a razor blade if you are very careful. Use a "filet" technique, pulling up as you go. Then you'll be left with about 1/2 the thickness of the tape still on the wall. You might try rubbing what is left on the wall off manually, wearing rubber gloves. Or you can try scraping it off with a putty knife. If the wall has a gloss finish then you can also consider using an alcohol based solvent to remove the tape residue. If the wall has a flat finish the problem is a bit more difficult because the finish may absorb the solvent that is used. In all cases, I would suggest that you first try in an area that is not visible.

Q: QuestionI am wiring my home with Cat 6 Ethernet going into each room. I have concrete walls in the basement and would like to know if this would work on the walls or not?
Asked by WillThisWorkOnConcreteWalls.
- A:Answer The adhesive strip on the Cordmate II raceway should be mounted to clean, dry, grease-free, smooth surfaces. Concrete walls usually are rough and somewhat textured so I don't believe the adhesive strip will hold very well. In such applications, you can install the raceway to the wall using #8 (5/16" head size) pan head fasteners.

Asked by Paula.
- A:Answer The back is an adhesive and it’s very durable. I suggest you measure out how you want to hides your wires before removing the cover to the adhesive.
