Needed an urgent low cost portable Windows based device for Freshman in college. Unbelievable price! Works superbly for internet in class access. So inexpensive so that if it breaks or gets stolen will just replace it.

I have purchased this laptop for work. It is limited in disk space (by design) but as a RDP computer it is great. I love that it comes with a subscription to Office 365. That makes up for the disk space.

This unit is so thin and lite you don't even know you are carrying it. I got it for my elderly Mom so I'm glad it's lite. She can see it and it's just the right size for her lap. It's fast, clear and easy to setup.

I was traveling to Brazil For the time that I was there, I wouldn't need all of the tools/ and features of my regular laptop, but I still needed to have one to work when not in the office. However, I would not recommend due to the 32gb limit of the solid state drive, which is not upgradeable. Especially problematic if you have multiple applications to add.

Like the title says, you get what you pay for. Bought it solely to stream videos to my TV through Netflix. No other purpose. Not even good for that. It is slower than you’d expect even for $150.00. Best Buy in a Chico was sold out of all computers up to $700 (couldn’t believe it). So I bought the only cheap computer. Lesson re-learned. Don’t buy cheap crap.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 120s-14 laptop. We are sorry to hear you are having issues with the audio on your IdeaPad 120s-14. First, try tapping the HotKey in the F1 position on your keyboard. This toggles the audio (both speakers and headphones) on/off. Then tap the Hot Key in the F3 position on the keyboard. This increases the audio volume. If this does not fix the issue, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer and that all of the support BIOS files and drivers are up to date. You will need to add storage space to the IdeaPad 120s-14 if there are updates waiting. You can use a Micro-SD card or any USB-based external hard drive for the temporary extra storage space you will need. You can easily check whether the operating software is up to date by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the device. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. For 2018, Lenovo retained its place for a second year as the best laptop vendor:
