It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.

Seamless streaming and surfing

Fast and Reliable - nice sleek design!

Very noisy fan that constantly ran. The AMD A12 seems respectable on papaer but seemed taxed on the most mundane of tasks. Perhaps more memory would fix this but I can't say for sure. The installed Lenovo software seems buggy but kudos to them for not filling the machine with bloatware. Still the experience is very slow. Display is murky, colors come off as faded. Washed out. There are very few, if any, good sightlines. Finally, if you need help, Lenovo will ask you to pay $200 up front if your issues is software related. The warranty covers hardware. But coverage is very minimal on the hardware side. You're essentially buying the product as is. I opted to return this laptop in exchange for an HP. At least I'm covered with no hidden fees if I have to call support for an issue. Instead of paying an extra $200 later when trouble hits, spend the extra 200 now on a product that's truly backed up by the brand. Lenovo doesn't do that here and that's why the machine is so cheap.

Lets not pretend that this is a powerful gaming laptop or anything like that. It plays Sims4 on a mix of low/medium settings and actually kind of surprised me on how smooth it runs on those settings. For web browsing and mobile computing it does the job great. This would be a perfect laptop for a student or for someone like me - someone looking for a casual laptop.
