I find it to be slower than I thought it would be to boot up and to go from program to program. The Internet Security with Antivirus Webroot Secure Anywhere that came with it was hard to install.I finally had to take it back to Best Buy for help in installing the security device.

That was a critical necessity for us as computers were not tools of our childhoods. No issues at all thus far. It just has not been long enough to know if it will live up to the #5 rating. Ask us again in a year.

To increase battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

Posted .This system should be a fast system with its AMD A12 processor and 8GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Great buy

I have a desktop computer running AMD 10 with 10 gigs of RAM. Bought it over 2 years ago and it still runs great. My son plays all the latest games. AMD 12 chips are just as good as any top Intel chip on the market. Better than an i5. Do your homework and watch videos and search the web and see for yourself. The only bad thing I can say about this laptop is that it sometimes turns its self off in the middle of doing something. Not all the time but when it does it gets annoying. O should check my settings. If you are thinking if buying a new laptop. Well never buy Celeron. Never! Give this a try at the store. Or read up on it and you will be very satisfied with your purchase.

Average Laptop

We bought it mainly for streaming video and it handles that pretty well, but the screen resolution is not the best. It almost takes you back to computer screens from 10 years ago and this after adjusting all the settings possible. Hasn't blown me away, but was pretty close to what I was looking for.
