You get what you pay for

And it crashed once within the 2nd week of owning it. We don't spend a lot of time on the computer anyhow. Decent for the price, good if you're just looking for a cheap family laptop.

Posted .With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Obviously the system should not crash. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally went to Best Buy to purchase a Chromebook but the Best Buy sales person talked me out of that by saying I could purchase a Lenovo laptop that would do more for slightly more money. When I brought this home and started using it I immediately noticed the fan was continuously cycling on and off, this was loud and extremely annoying. If this wasn't bad enough, the laptop was slow & lagging and this wasn't from a slow internet connection. I started thinking if my computer was this slow on day one, what would it be like after a few months? On the second day I starting using the computer and I had the same problems as the previous day, I couldn't take it, so I returned the laptop to Best Buy. The people at the service desk were nice and refunded my money. I purchased a Acer Chromebook 14 and it works great! I would not recommend the Lenovo as it was noisy and slow. I gave it a one star because their wasn't an option for zero stars!

There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. Was VERY skeptical about buying another one, but research indicated the new model with the new AMD processor (rather than Intel Celeron in the old one) would provide much better performance and reliability....and it does. Def better than Dell's latest laptops!
