She is finishing her prerequisites before entering nursing school. It is perfect for paper writing and internet use. The computer does have some glitches that I am not use to (as a Mac user), but it is perfect for what she needs it for.

This is considerably lighter than my wife's Acer, and this was the main reason for the purchase. The lighter frame and decent performance made for just the right balance when leveraged against the price.
