I like that this product uses AMD rather than Intel; It has problems though. - Loud - Slow Hard Disk - Slow... It's like they were trying to make a laptop with good specs but poor hardware configuration. Get something else.

    Broken out of the box

Inexplicable vertical green bars covering the screen, a touchpad that requires reconfiguration to function, a battery that depletes in less than an hour, and constant freezes are what I might expect from a second-hand laptop peddled by a shady salesman--not a brand new laptop from Best Buy. It is utterly inexcusable that any company should sell a product that comes broken out of the box. I attempted to return the laptop in less than 30 days--a timeframe typical for every other store I've purchased a product from--only to discover that Best Buy's policy is to refuse returns after 15 days. I am now stuck with a multi-hundred-dollar paperweight.

received this in the mail and was super excited to have a laptop after mine died 2 weeks ago. I opened it, plugged it in and...nothing-just a white screen that flickered but it would change to a grayish screen with vertical lines on the side. I contacted Lenovo customer service and they were a little snippy with me. They told me I would have to pay to ship to them and it would be at least a week until they could fix the laptop. I decided I did not want a computer that had problems right out of the box. I am now writing this review on my new HP computer that I absolutely adore so far. I will be returning the Lenovo today.

Within 5 months of purchase, we experience problems with this product. The laptop would crash; Mozilla would crash. We called Best Buy Customer Service and they said Lenovo would replace the laptop because of the manufacturer's one year warranty. We called Lenovo and they said they WOULD NOT replace it because we had bought it through a reseller. They went into the computer and just replaced the graphics driver. Did not even run a hardware scan. We're still having crash issues. It's a TOTAL rip-off and we're upset with Best Buy for misleading us about the warranty.

The laptop processor is very slow and takes an EXTREMELY long time to fully boot at start up. The Windows 10 operating system is not at all user friendly especially the Windows mail. I certainly expected better from Microsoft. Tasks that should be basic often freeze the computer and it is beyond frustrating. I purchased the product in August of 2017 and at a very good price but am extremely disappointed in the performance. I am now stuck with a laptop that is pretty much useless until I can purchase a better product. I would not reccomend this prouct for purchase.

This computer took a minimum of 2-4 hours to start up from the box. Once it was started up it was okay, but it didn’t set a good tone when it took that long to update for first use.

    Great machine for the price

LENOVO Ideapad 320-15ABR Hello everyone, I did not see very many reviews for this laptop so I thought I would write one. PRO - The machine was not loaded down with a bunch of programs that will never get used however Lenovo offers a unique way of getting some if you want them. The system came with plenty of ram and hard drive space for everyday needs. Even though there is no SSD this laptop just feels fast. The A12 in this laptop is smoking fast paired with the R7 graphics it can play any game I throw at it at medium settings. Obviously with that being said your not going to crank up the latest titles and stream to a 4k television. The system is nice looking and the color on the display are adequate for a sub $400 machine. The keyboard and overall build feel ok but since I have only had it for a week I cannot talk up the durability. CON - I initially was looking for better resolution for productivity reasons. The display has limited viewing angles but that's the trade off for the hardware included at this price range. Great performance but mediocre display. It would be very difficult to add ram but this is a common theme now with almost all budget laptops. The included power adapter is small and on the left side. That is great for right handed mouse users but it seams a little loose. If it becomes a issue I will update. Battery life is around 3 hours in full power mode but with power saving I get around 5 hours using normal non-game or video software. CONCLUSION - For the price this is an excellent choice. The thing is fast and capable of playing some modern games. It runs productivity apps, Netflix, DVD's, and browses the web like a champ. My budget was around $550 and I spent under 4 bills for this machine because of the performance / price ratio. JUST GET IT!

I bought this for the kids to do their home work. It was a Christmas gift that we did not give them until Jan 20th (for personal reasons) This PC was a piece of junk from day one. It is incredibly slow! I have Verizon Fios as my service provider. My HP laptop is very fast so I know it's not my provider. It takes over 3 min to start up, and times out on most websites. I did several website time tests, side by side with my HP and the Lenovo was a joke! And of course it's too late to return it. Now i'm stuck with a door stop!

Slow, Freezes, and Mouse Jumps around Screen

I made this as a budget purchase and have regretted it ever since. Besides the computer being slow, I have had to reload the operating system already(no it was not a virus) because of constant freezing. The mouse pointer jumps all around the screen. I have changed touchpad sensitivity and that has not helped. One day I noticed that the CDROM was wobbly so I turned the machine over and noticed that one of the screws was missing! This is a poorly made machine and would not recommend it for anyone.

I bought this laptop for school since I needed Windows 10 for one of my classes. Everything started out fine, then after about three weeks the keyboard began entering random combinations on its own. It stopped responding to user input. The virtual keyboard only worked for so long as well. Peripheral usb keyboards also only work for a short time before things go haywire again. Tried virus scans and reinstalling the drivers with no luck. Really disappointed.

This sounds like there is a software compatibility issue. Either installed programs or an automatic Windows 10 update. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the SD card slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. lenovo

This system should be a fast system with its AMD A12 processor and 8GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. lenovo

The battery life of this model is up to 4.5 Hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. To increase battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. lenovo

Maybe I just got a bad egg of a laptop but this thing was awful. It took over 2 days just to try and get everything downloaded and set up out of the box and when everything was finally done it couldn’t even load Netflix. And I know it wasn’t the WiFi because I also have a MacBook, iPhones, and Roku that was running perfectly fine while this garbage had trouble launching whatever replace internet explorer.
