Nice Solid Laptop

My only complaint would be the set-up....so tedious....and that's due, in part, to Windows, not Lenovo. When I've set-up Apple computers, it's a few questions, a check on any OS updates and off you go. With Windows, there were just too many OS updates, too many questions, too many solicitations, etc. that took hours to complete. So, the Lenovo is a good unit. It's the Windows set-up that made it tiring.

I bought this model because of the price, rating and the specs considering that the person using it will mainly be doing light web surfing and some email. Plus the screen is fairly large and easy to view. So far so good - haven’t heard of any problems or complaints yet.

To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. Next, to maximize battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:
