A: Yes it does. One of the reasons I bought it--older one did not. I have used it to back up some things and to look at some older stuff I have on DVD (I have desktops that I create them on). I have PC games on DVD that I have not had a chance to load on yet--Jeopardy, wheel of fortune type of games.

A: No, the HDMI port on the laptop is to connect an external display (monitor or TV). A fire stick isn't necessary to use streaming services Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video. You can simply watch in your internet browser on the laptop.

A: Ryzen 3 is a dual core laptop CPU sitting just above the last year core i3s. this would compare to a 2-3 year old i5 laptop processor. the latest core i5 laptop processors carrying 4 cores as does the Ryzen 5. Just put the Ryzen number (3,5,7) next to the corresponding Intel number (i3, i5, i7).
