This was a definite win! I love that it has a dvd/cd player those are hard to come by. I like how it did not come with a lot of extra junk installed on the computer. It’s very easy to use and is very good quality and compatible with everything a student needs.

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Bought This Garbage Laptop For College

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason I'm giving this computer 2 stars instead of 1 is because it at least worked for about 14 months. While yes, it is a cheap computer, I still expected a decent product for $400. I built my desktop computer for around $700, and it handles all mainstream software and games really well. This computer is a piece of junk for the following reasons: 1. It doesn't have an SSD. This causes it to have an unbearably long boot time. It's not uncommon to wait about 2 or 3 minutes for Microsoft Word or Excel to open. 2. The physical laptop is awkwardly light and slippery. I've dropped this laptop twice. Once was because I opened the top half upward and instead of opening it pushed backwards off my desk. The weight distribution is really weird and you must use both hands to open the laptop or risk dropping it. The second time I dropped it was because it just slipped out of my hand. There is no texture, so make sure to have a firm grasp with both hands. The second drop permanently damaged my screen, so that's great. 3. The internet is unbearably slow, both at home and at my university. My home internet is good and the university WiFi is ok, but it can easily take 2 or 3 minutes to open a browser. Even when the browser is open, it takes way too long for a new tab to open. I know it's not a problem with the actual internet because my desktop computer uses the same internet and it is very quick with opening browsers. The problem is with the laptop. Not only would I not recommend this laptop to a friend, but I would strongly recommend everyone to look elsewhere. This computer is a piece of junk. Now, because of the laptop's poor and fragile design, I'll have to spend another $400 or more on a new laptop. This laptop has caused me a lot of unnecessary stress.
