Silver tone case has smooth surface that retains unsightly finger prints. Positives are lightweight, portability, very lightweight and good screen image. Though the 11" screen may be too small for some. Keyboard has nice feel but the "O" key was stuck in the depressed position. I bought on sale for $175.00 that is excellent value.

Xmas gift for my mom, she's wanted a Chromebook for a year now waiting for her old iPad to die.... she absolutely hates it & I'm honestly glad I didn't buy one for myself either. Slow, unresponsive screen, horribly put together OS, "Linux Beta" pretty much just equals a useless command line. More than happy to keep my 4yo Dell & openSUSE and use it to buy momma laptop #2
