so far so good - except for the sound

Don't count on the salesperson to inform of this deficiency - not even on the upsell!!! really? I was surprised about no speakers - seems very lame on Lenova's part. But I would expect BB reps to know and inform the customer - especially when the audio was part of the sales hype.

After I learned how to windows 8.1 I like it.

I had some trouble with my origional set up because of garbage downloaded from the internet. It is very difficult now to not get add-ins you do not want. Of coure that is not a problem with the computer but the operator.
