bought it for gaming purposes and also purchased 750w psu and gtx 760 gpu. it comes with 280w psu and nvidia gtx 720 which is good to run most games on medium-high, after minor upgrades to psu and gpu i have a sweet gaming pc without paying $2k. im beyond pleased with what i got for the price. chose to modify a pc rather than build from scratch. the i5 is amazing .i5/gtx 760 combo runs all the games i have tryed on max settings. mouse and keyboard (which worked and looked fine) i replaced with g502 logitec mouse and razer keyboard.

I bought this computer on Saturday, but I was a little iffy because of these reviews. Let me make it simple -Runs Team Fortress 2 completely maxed out with no issues -Incredibly fast - Windows 8 is awesome If you are looking at computers and don't feel like building one or don't have time, this is the computer to buy.

I bought this PC as refurbished with Geek Squad Certified, and so far so good. My previous Dell XPS computer was bogging down due after 7 yrs old with space and processor limitations. This one has been incredible.

For the price this is a good solution for someone gaming on a budget with room to upgrade. Great performance as-is at medium settings without anti-aliasing for all of my AAA titles. Room to grow if you upgrade the power supply and GPU down the road. Let me make a note: the computer is great, the service I got was even better. Matthew, at my local Best Buy knew exactly what I was looking for and made me feel confident about this purchase of a pre-built. I will be recommending this to my friends.

Reliable but otherwise does not standout

This PC provided basic performance which for the money was not enough value for me. Ended up returning this model. Subsequently bought an I7 Lenovo from Best Buy online. The new purchase was an all-in-one which is a great choice and although I spent twice the money, the value to price was better. Lenovo brand is reliable and this model for moderate use online and medium games is an OK buy. Now that it is on reduction of price at this writing, the value proposition is more in line with my expectations. .

Good desktop, but needed some upgrades

I went to best buy to get a gaming desktop and came home with this one, I had a little lag problem from some of the tougher games. After a month I upgraded the ram from 8GB to 16GB then I upgraded the graphics card to Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 then to top it off I upgraded the power supply to 650 watts. Now the desktop runs every game I throw at it!

This pc is ok but when i bought it in store i was told that the graphics card is a gaming card, but the thing about the graphics card is it is garbo. This graphics card is only ment to connect a monitor to the pc, this is a low grade graphics card, i needed to buy a new graphics card just to be able to run a game made in 2001.

DOA. I work hard for my money spent!!

I have not bought a new PC in 6 years. Spent hours searching for a good buy that was a decent gaming system and came across this PC. It has alot to offer and the best part is room to expand. Saved my hard earned money just to come home plug it in and all i get are 2 beeps and a no signal on my monitor. 2 Beeps according to Specs could be either bad memory, or CMOS needed to be cleared and reset along with battery so BIOS would boot correctly. I was dead set not to return this system and wait who knows how long to get a replacement. Spent 8 hours til I got it right. Time is money and time spent on this could have been put to other purpose filled uses. Very upset with Lenovo for sending a DOA pc out the door. Still factory sealed so Best Buy did not play part in it. Best Buy Sales was very nice when I was shopping and gave me space to try it out and answered questions. Kudos to Best Buy Sales. I cant recommend the PC...... how can you? Shame, because when its running its amazing. Its quiet, fast, plays my game on high setting perfectly, surfs the web fast, shuts down and starts up at fast speeds! Just a frustrating 8 hours......

I bought this a couple weeks ago with the itentions of gaming. I did have to upgrade the Graphics and power supply, but i knew that anyway. After putting a EVGA GTX 750 Ti and Thermaltake 430 Watt power supple (also bought at Best Buy) in this beast, it can play BF4 on ultra and get 40 ish FPS. try to do that for under $1000 and you will fail. Great look and build quality. Two thumbs up on this PC. Only negative is it only has two hard drive bays.

After purchasing and setting up the computer at home, I opened the browser to be greeted by nothing but ad popups, to the point that i could no longer work. After having to do a complete system recovery and then Immediately running a virus scan, I found out that the preinstalled programs (program) was infected with the Artemis virus. Make sure to run a virus scan before you go on the internet at all it you buy this product.

Great for business not good for Gaming

I have mixed feelings about this computer. The cpu is fast but the Graphics card is an entry level card. Almost all the major games I have tried tell me it will work on the lowest settings only and some games not at all till the graphics card is updated. For business its a great computer but it was advertized as a gaming computer and that is far from the truth. I wish I would have looked up the reviews for the graphics card before I bought this because they were all low marks. Once again...If you are looking for a business computer this is perfect if you are looking to play games do not get this. Best Buy has others on sale with mid level graphics cards and highly rated for the same price. The noise level is low because it has only one fan most gaming machines have between 3 and 10. I bought this in to big of a hurry without checking it out just going by the reviews here from people who are not really gamers. I do plan to return it and get the right one this time.

    Do not buy lenovo!!!!

I bought a lenovo desktop H50 last June 2015 by Sept 2015 the desktop failed and indicate no operating system installed. Called support multiple times to fix it over the phone but failed. They sent a tech to replace the hard drive but I have to wait 3 days for recovery disc. 4 days later the tech failed to make it work coz they sent the wrong disc and need to ask for replacement but will not comeback to install it since he was there to replace the hard drive only. 2nd disc also failed faulty disc. 3rd disc also failed. Finally support said they will assign it to a case manager Halbert Olivares who emailed us on Sept 22 to confirmed replacement but that was the last time we heard from him even after countless attempt of emails and phone messages still no response. It's now Oct 8. I have sent the CEO a letter for help. LESSON: DON T BUY A LENOVO PRODUCT AND IF YOU ARE ASSIGN TO HALBERT OLIVARES REQUEST FOR A DIFFERENT CASE MANAGER. BAD BAD SERVICE!! the status of the case

Quiet, looks good. Awful graphics card

The performance of this PC is okay and it is very quiet. Great for typical home use. However the graphics card is a real letdown if you want to add a second monitor. The second port is only VGA which is awful quality. I had to buy a replacement card to give me two digital outputs. Very disappointing and a sign of cost cutting to the bone.

Bought the computer about 2.5 years ago. Worked great for 2 years, then the motherboard basically died on me. Not sure if its the motherboard and CPU or just one of them, but I was pretty disappointed seeing as the computer barely lasted me over 2 years and for 600$ I was expecting much more. I wouldnt buy Lenovo again.
