Solid inexpensive computer for my son

He really likes it and uses it for schoolwork and for playing games like Minecraft. If you want a high-speed gaming computer, you'll have to get something with a stronger processor, but for an entry level computer for the purposes for which we need it, this is a good buy.

I bought it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Granted, she uses it for Facebook, Netflix, web, and games, and she's not some corporate exec. This is the perfect device for the needs that she has.

Worked great two weeks-- then started crashing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So was working great when we got it, was SUPER impressed by it's size, good wifi, memory, long battery life, etc, but on day 14 of having it, the headphone jack suddenly stopped working. It also has problems with freezing. Right now it's been shipped in for warranty for possible hardware issues, and I question if buying this was worth it considering how it didn't last that long without these issues.

Posted .When you get your system back, you may want to consider turning off automatic updates on your system. As you point out, it work fine for two weeks. It sounds like there was an automatic update and then the system started to fail. If you turn off automatic updates, you will get a notice when there is an update for your system. This will give you an opportunity to create a restore point on your system before you allow the update.
