He uses it also from time to time to look up things for school. If you're use will be simple without a lot of downloads and added material that take up a lot of space then this is for you. Very thin though so id imagine it would break fairly easy if dropped.

I was concerned about the 2 gigs of memory but the version of 10 does not have all the background programs running so surfing is as fast as my $1200 laptop. I bought this for my 10 year old who could not be happier.

This is actually a nice computer. It loads pretty fast and has nice bright resolution. I like how lightweight it is; I can carry it in my purse easily (especially when I travel) without having to take a laptop bag. It came with a free trial of Microsoft Office. I am glad I took a second look at this little laptop; it was a great value and serves the purpose.

Great netbook for minor processing
