This is a mini laptop. It beats surface for it's bigger in screen, better for eyes. Plus it's also fast.

Bought as first computer for a 4th grade child , mostly used for Internet for homework and online games. The color makes it easy to spot anywhere!

Right out of the box it was easy to set up to the wi-fi. Only long part was the free Microsoft office set up. I do miss the numeric keypad though

After installed Adobe Digital Editions able to read any book I want and not have to be concerned about running out of battery charge while reading a book (10+hrs). Able to use Windows voice recognition so hands free. Installed extra MicroSD card for extra disk space. Only problems is with Windows 10 and how it is hardcoded to use Drive C: for most directories.

This is a great laptop for administrative work such as emails, web browsing, Microsoft office, pdf files etc. MS office comes free for one year. Laptop is very neat and charger is small, overall very easy to carry. Comes with wifi and usb ports, battery is practically good for 9 hours. I loved windows 10 as they fixed many of the silly issues with windows 8, now it feels like a real operating system that works effeciantly and smartly. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this laptop for the price I paid, with the fact that my use is straight forward and I don't deal with large files or sophisticated software.

purchased this for my son for school. Low priced but had windows 10 and office included. per him it works fine and is all he needs for school.

So far so good! It's a Little slow but a lot faster than my 8 year old hp with Vista! Enough said!

I'm really kind of shocked how much I like my little red Lenovo Ideapad 100S. It's a nifty computer, light-weight and small enough that I can slide it into my over-sized purse. The on-screen colors are true and lovely, and transitioning from my old computer to this one was a breeze. The only downsides that were mentioned in reviews (a less-than-sturdy keyboard that "gives" in the middle a little too much and the computer's limited sound capabilities) are completely non-issues. I love the keyboard, love the color. The only thing that would improve the Ideapad for me is if the keyboard had a back-light.

I bought this laptop for my 10 yr old daughter. She loves it. It does everything she needs for home and school. Just wish it had a DVD drive.

Lightweight, fast booting and shutdown with long battery life. Definitely recommend for students and travel related use.

I wanted a small, easy to carry computer for writing, email, surfing Web and this Lenovo is inexpensive and just what I needed. Now if I can find an app that stops procrastination, I'll get some writing done!

Was looking for a cheap, light and convenient Pc as a home backup (mostly used by my mom for email and video), and this item was perfect. With a bigger MMC card you can basicly do anything basic like any pc.
