Only preloaded software downloaded so far; getting prompts to download Microsoft office by deadline - included in purchase. When I tried to download, received a message that there is no storage space available to download the program. Would return it if I could.

You don't need to download any software, just initiate the trial by launching the software. The first screen you see will be a choose window where you can start the trial, activate the software (make a purchase) or take a tour.

It runs MS Office fine, although I haven't tried any intensive Excel calculating. It is not the fastest, although I knew that going in. The screen is acceptable, but you wouldn't really want to watch video if you are very particular. As a second laptop or as an alternative to a tablet, it's a fine addition.

It was about 10 days before I turned it on again. The battery was dead. I plugged it in and it would not charge. I have had the second one about the same length of time and I had to plug it in. The computer is fine for what I paid but the battery is a disappointment.
