I’ve had it now for a month and I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is a bare bones, no frills, extremely portable laptop with a long battery life. It’s about as close as you can get to a disposable laptop using Microsoft programs. Most of the complaints in other reviews are from people who didn’t know how basic this machine is. The price is unbeatable. But don’t pay for a Geo Metro and expect a Dodge Viper. It’s not a gaming laptop. It doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. And you aren’t going to be able to run the budgets of a Fortune 500 company on its meager 2GB RAM or its Atom processor. But for the cost of the cheapest Chromebooks, you get a 2.2 # laptop with an 8-10 hour battery life & a 1 year subscription to Office 365. What that gives you is an extremely portable laptop that runs Office programs. The Office 365 will eat up most of the 32GB solid state hard drive. So purchase a micro SD card. (Be sure to pay attention to the read/write speed of any micro SD card you buy.) I got a fast 64GB card on sale for $35. When it’s closed up, this laptop is only 8½ x 11½ x ½ . So it’s about the size of a thin pad of letter size paper. I put mine in a leather notepad cover that zips closed. It’s enough to protect it from everyday minor jostles & bumps. Don’t expect this machine to last for years and years. It’s all plastic. But for the price it’s very well built. The screen opens all the way to 180 degrees. If you’ve ever heard the horrible cracking sound of opening a laptop too far, you’ll appreciate the added range on this Lenovo. It does great on basics: reading email, web surfing, doing some small to mid sized files in Word or Excel. Sometimes it freezes up when running a lot of streaming video or working with large Office files. Even so, I was able to stream live video from the web on it and connect it via an HD cable to my home TV. And I have a 465 page Word document (rough draft of a novel) that it’s able to handle but it does push it to its limits.. To maximize battery life, be sure to put it into airplane mode when you’re not on the web. It’s easy - you just click on the web icon in the lower left corner of the screen. I also keep my screen brightness at 75%, which drains the battery more slowly than full 100%. As a writer, I used to lug paper notebooks with me and then I had to key everything into my laptop when I got home. I wanted a portable, long battery life, lightweight, no frills laptop that could run Windows programs for under $200. This Lenovo was exactly what I wanted.

Didn’t even last 6 months. Purchased 2 one for my daughter and one for my sister both teenagers who barely used them.

BIOS does not support legacy boot and would not install UEFI Operating systems either. Would have been a great Linux DEV system.

Bought this for my ex girlfriends 12yr old daughter its not all that fast but it does everything to meet her needs quite well

If you are just needing something for browsing the net and/or playing a few minimum graphics games, this will do tje job.

It is a cheap lightweight computer. Limited in some ways but in many others a real value and asset. Glad I have it!

This works perfect for getting online and paying bills and doing basic computer functions. Good buy for the money.

I bought this as a stop gap until we could purchase a great computer: worst decision. While you can add a micro sd card, this does nothing for the storage that matters. Case in point, I can’t do the updates that it is demanding be done, no matter how many apps I get rid of. Even the Norton

you get what you pay for. I bought it for my husband to use on the go.
