First, let me say, this is my favorite computer I have ever owned. Why? It is utterly silent. Yes, no moving parts, no vent holes, no fan obviously. Secondly, it is light weight and solid. The battery life on this is phenomenal. Keyboard is nice, and the atom processor works A-ok for me. No disc drive, no problem. Storage is adequate with the addition of onedrive/dropbox/google drive and/or a micro sd card. This is windows 10 32 bit. Admittedly, the last PC I bought was top of the line in 2010... First gen i7 processor... and weighed in at something like ten pounds plus. the price of said computer? $1250.00 plus... It was a toshiba, and came to me from newegg with a malfunctioning albeit backlit keyboard, and a dead pixel they specified was "normal production quality and not covered under warranty"... Well... let me tell you, you spend that much, you expect perfect. My advice to you, keep your laptop separate of your gaming PC. Laptops are meant to be light and go with you. Gaming is meant for a powerful tower PC. No this isn't for gaming, but works perfectly well for old favorites, emulation, etc. Long long long long battery life. This computer is not perfect, but it is excellent. Windows 10, once updated (make sure you take a day to update this machine before real use) is wonderful... 15 second startup, 10 second shut down. The monitor, while not the highest pixel density, gets the job done. I like it... and that is from someone who also uses a 4k resolution Samsung tablet. No, this isn't as easy on the eyes, but it is perfectly acceptable. Let me remind you, this won't be the last laptop you ever own. I purchased mine for $129.99... I suggest you wait for that price or better... I think it has gone as low as $119.99 back in December. It is well worth that price. A true value. Glad I bought two, one for my spouse. If something happens to it, I'll still be upset.. but it isn't a $600.00 + deficit. Additional tips: Don't like the monitor and don't have to be on the go? Plug it into any tv with HDMI, extend the desktop and tweak the settings so that only the tv is your main monitor. Change your windows power settings so the lid closing doesn't put it to sleep or shut down. Close it. Congratulations, it's a desktop anywhere you take it. Add a wireless mouse and keyboard and you are good to go. Office is installed and must be activated within 6 months of startup of the computer. This is VERY nice. A legit copy of office.. geeze, Security is also built into Windows 10 from Microsoft, I have yet to install the extra antivirus included. Microsoft is starting to win me over. Don't let the website fool you, Office 365 Personal is pre-installed on this machine. Don't add it to your cart in addition to the computer at time of purchase.

The keyboard couldn't functional within two days, totally got stock! I have to force it reset to factory default setting to bring it back to work with mouse operation (hopefully mouse still working!?). I do believe it will happen again, so just return it.
