i got this beauty at an amazing Black Friday price! It's fast, light, excellent to be on the go. Good graphics, the 32gb it's not an issue, you can buy a usb or simply use one drive. No problems with the pad. This is one of the best purchase I have made!

As others have said, for basic office work, this is a great machine. Additionally, at the time of writing, the specifications page says that there is no Bluetooth support, but that is inaccurate as it does have Bluetooth 4.0 as part of the chipset. Similarly, the Lenovo website states the screen is glossy, though the one sold at Best Buy has a matte screen. Finally, the unit is fanless, and there's no other sound that emits from the device like electric whine. Upgrades are out of the question aside from adding more storage via a Micro SD card.

It is light, easy to use, and has good battery life. You would be satisfied, if you will use only for web browsing and simple tasks. But that's all. Doing multitask will made this one slower.

If you like tiny things, you will love this laptop. I purchased it is an interim laptop until black Friday, and have decided to keep it as my primary laptop. When I run out of space, I will upgrade. It weights 2 lbs. and is perfect for doing Word, Excel and PP docs, surfing the net to shop, pay bills and email. You can increase the size of the images and fonts so it doesn't look so small. I use 150%. Great tiny solution!!

This is exactly what I needed. Super portable! Hooked it to my phone's hot spot for travel and my son loved it. This laptop has been used more than my HP 17.6" since I have had it. There has been no issues. Hooked up a wireless mouse and away I go.. If this is what you are looking for.. do not hesitate, grab one!

My La VieZ is being repaired (again) so needed a lightweight replacement for travel asap. The Ideapad 100s is a find! Light, fast and and good value with 365 included. Be aware, the refurbished version doesn't come with 365. Really happy with my purchase.

I had my lenovo thinkpad for a loong time, and my battery died. I wanted to buy a new battery, but found the ideapad was on sale. For less than $200, this is worth it! I like that it's lightweight. Keyboard is comfortable. Battery life is amazing for this little thing! It has usb ports, wifi connectivity, webcam, decent speakers and display. I don't like glossy screens, since i have to do a lot of reading on it (others may find this a turn off). it can lag a little, since it uses an atom processor (same as those that you can find in tablets). overall, great product.

I bought this because I wanted a smaller, lighter laptop to carry around campus, but could also do my online classes. I only tried this one out in the store, and to be honest, the price was a major selling point, 149.99!! But I was amazed when I got home and started using it. There is no lag in the internet, everything loads fast, and I have had zero problems with it. I highly recommend for any student on a budget!

I bought this laptop a little over a month ago, I have not had a single problem with it yet. I have read many reviews on this where people are saying NEGATIVE things I have no one single issue with this computer since the day I got it. It does come with 1 year Microsoft word and it activated immediately. I have read where some people are having issues with it, maybe the solution is to have Best Buy set your computer up for you. I have read about battery issues, and I haven't had one yet. This computer took a little bit to charge but it wasn't that big of a deal for me. The screen was small, but then again so is the laptop and that's why partially why I chose it so I could put it in my purse if I need to. People are talking about the speed of this laptop, it has been nothing but fast for me. Loaded up quickly for me. If your laptop is SLOW straight out of the box maybe you need to get it into best buy and have them look it over, get the protection that I do recommend. This isn't meant to be a gaming laptop buy no means, if that's what your looking for then your looking in the wrong direction looking at sub $200 computer get something more expensive. This computer does exactly what I bought it for which was web surfing and school work, Its small enough to fit into my bookbag and purse and go with me places and it isn't super bulky either I can pick it up with one hand and its not heavy. I plan to buy the white version of this computer soon

For email, word processing and web browsing its perfect. I can even remote into my office network computer. At full price you may find something better, but this is frequently substantially discounted.

Ironically and sadly, I was discouraged to purchase this laptop by the staff at Best Buy itself!, saying that this is not fit to run media and that movies/videos/Netflix would hang often. Fortunately, I decided to buy one anyway since it was on black friday sale for $100 and I was looking for a very minimal specs-laptop. This has become my main laptop for travel. It runs movies, Netflix and other videos smoothly. It has the entire MS Office suite, Skype, Picasa, VLC player, Firefox and Adobe installed. Everything works perfectly, the battery lasts an amazing 8+ hours. If you don't have to run MATLAB or any really heavy softwares, this is perfect!

Got this in a flash sale for $129 and pleasantly surprised with the value. Excellent Windows 10 machine for basic web access and Office applications. Throw in the one-year Office 365 and my final cost was 60 bucks. Have it plugged into my TV with a wireless keyboard/mouse so not concerned about the limited track pad... But honestly people whining about this obviously have unreasonable expectations. I highly recommend this laptop!

I've had mine a month now and am generally pleased. Keep in mind that is meant to retail at $200 or less, so expectations should be in line. It's a little slow on the internet occasionally, but who knows what Windows is doing in the background. Biggest gripe is that there is no scroll function for the trackpad. It's back to basics using 2 hands to scroll. The up & down arrow keys sometimes are slow to react when used to assist scrolling, so it's a pain in the *** that way. I'd still recommend it even with these downsides.

I am so happy with my purchase. The screen is a bit small, but the compactness of the computer itself is great. Its super lightweight and the battery is long lasting. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop with more features than a chromebook at a low price

Light weight, easy setup, 4 cores, good value for $

My $500 HP laptop crapped out on me and I needed something to help me with my freelance social media and marketing until I can finance a MacBook. I chose this because of the price, size and weight. This is also a new brand for me, but after reading some reviews and getting some insight from the sales associate, I felt confident with my purchase. I had to return the first one I got from the open box sale because it wasn't connecting to any wifi. This is when I started reading more reviews on this laptop and saw that it was getting a lot of positive feedback about how fast and strong the internet connection was, so I figured I'd give Lenovo another try. Best buy was awesome about accommodating my concerns. So I swapped out the used purchase for a brand new one. but THEN the space bar on the new one was stuck and I took it back. 3rd times a charm. I did consider at this point that maybe I should just pay another $150-200 to avoid another return. But the design, weight, and sleekness really made it hard. All the other ones that were more expensive, didn't appeal to me aesthetically. And the next model up was a touch screen, with 360 degree rotation - which was what I had on my HP but i never used it - so I couldn't justify paying $150 more for a feature I didn't want. Turns out the wifi was a defect of it being a used one (duh) and the sticky space bar was just bad luck. I am now using this laptop and connecting to the internet in places I was never able to catch signal in my house before! it's awesome. I love it. Totally worth the price! and thank you Best Buy for an awesome return policy =)

Bought this because Walt Mossberg said it was a solid machine. The day before Black Friday, it was $130. It's a surprisingly good laptop, snappy! It even has bluetooth.

Very very very flimsy keyboard. Bends when typing in the middle even w light pressure. I bought this for an online course that needed all programs from office 365. It was cheaper than a text book. I paid $149.99 on sale and didn't hesitate. I wouldn't pay over that for sure. All in all, it's great for school work but not much else.

One has to keep in mind that this isn't a laptop replacement, or a desktop replacement. It's there to do what your smartphone can't. With that said, here are the pluses: all-day battery life, great keyboard. Screen size is adequate, and the micro-sd card slot for expansion will become necessary at some point. The bad: processor: intel atom. It's slow. Even typing it will lag. Perhaps the chromebook version runs smoother, but this computer does run slow. 2gb ram for a windows 10 machine, that's not enough ram. Bottom line: if you know you won't be playing Skyrim or running multiple programs, this is the computer for you. The battery life is what makes it for me.
