    A light use computer

You want to get this knowing what you are getting into. A light weight tablet computer pretty much. It is a little slow. It often can't handle too many tabs on chrome. But it seems to work fine other than that. I mostly just use it for taking notes and writing papers in google drive. I wouldn't expect much more out of it for what it is. I have only had it a week, I'm not sure if it is a keeper yet. Giving it the last week to decide. Make sure there are no problems. I had to buy an open box version because the store didn't have any new ones. It was pretty inexpensive though so that is a plus. Also, the mouse track pad is not very good. It will definitely go out quickly.

Super little laptop for browsing the web or watching YouTube videos. It boots up and shuts down in just a few seconds. It's snappy to use as well. If you need more storage space, just install a micro SD card for up to 128GB more for about $40 right now.

This is a great laptop for basic computing needs. I was going to buy a Chromebook but this is a better value as it is a Windows 10 based system. Works very well and is fast for basic computing needs.

Gets the job done but glitchy mouse pad & keyboard

Gets the job done such emailing, surfing the web, typing a paper, using excel, everyday things although the mouse pad is very glitchy. I would try to scroll down although the arrow would jump back up and it does this on quite a bit. Another thing is the keyboard you really need to press down on the keys to type. Cons:

Heads up, no internet hard wire port. Everything has to be through wifi. Easy to set up and Windows 10 installed. Price is very fair, hopefully it will hold up.

I'm constantly on my big computer at home and I needed something that was a little more light weight and easily portable. Pretty fast except when watching videos sometimes but nothing major. I decided to buy this over a chromebook because I prefer using Firefox. Great for basic needs. Wish I would've bought my online however. I bought it in store and never received the Titanium Security package. Still $149 for a computer and year subscription to Microsoft Office is unbeatable.

I was looking for a small laptop we could use at my office for side projects and for my FedEx printers. Its a good laptop it came with one free year of Office 365. It only has a 32GB hard drive but, it is flash storage so the computer is very fast. I am very happy with my purchase.

My kids broke their laptop so I took a chance on this after reading some reviews. I wanted to save money and not be furious if the kids broke this too. I and my kids are really happy with this. It isn't a super fast gaming laptop. But it is good for basic schoolwork. And it is durable and reliable. One of my favorite things about it is no fan. And it doesn't get hot! Also the battery last a long time.

I needed a really cheap laptop for work. This fit my budget. There a some cons with in. No scroller on the touchpad so scrolling down and up is a little annoying. The keyboard is really slow and not responsive. But it boots up fast and the small size is a pro.

BEWARE - cheap and won't stand behind product

I should have realized, I would run into problems when the sales person told me this laptop was low quality. Since it was for my 10 year old daughter, I wasn't that concerned because I figured she would get 1 or 2 years out of it. Well.... I got exactly 22 days out of it. My daughter was in the middle of playing a game and the screen started glitching. I told her to turn it off and then turn it on later. Upon turning it back on there were lines shooting everywhere on the screen. It was powered back off again. Upon turning back on again the screen appeared cracked. There was no physical damage to it but the gel behind the screen was leaking. Long story short, Best Buy nor Lenovo will replace the defective screen. LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR, IT WAS NEVER DROPPED OR IMPACTED. I wasted $200, I will NEVER buy another lenovo product again. My 7 year old son has a another brand laptop and has never had any problems with his. What a joke! Do yourself don't waste your money!!

    Disappointing

After doing some pretty intensive searching for an inexpensive laptop, I came across this computer. The computer was attractive, thin, and light. It was also geek certified, so I thought I would give it a try. When I got it set up, I discovered that unlike most computers, if you had to reset your password, you had to insert a memory stick and after going through a number of steps, were still unable to reset the password. The options on the opening screen was very limited, and I had to clean the whole system out, which was very slow. After a few days, I returned it to the store. Get yourself a HP Stream, it's the same price, easier to use, and faster.

NIce size with good battery life but some issues

I bought this laptop as a secondary computer to use in family room. I have had it for about 3 months now. The form factor is nice and lightweight and does not look cheap. The battery life is great giving me over 7 hours of web browsing and some video watching before requiring to be plugged in. The system boots up fast since it has an SSD although it small. (Only 32GB). I thought the 2GB of RAM would be an issue but I have not noticed much issues when web browsing and watching videos. The keyboard feels great for such a small laptop and I like the fact that the touchpad has dedicated left and right mouse buttons instead of being part of the touchpad. The issues I have are pretty big. The WIFI will intermittently disconnect and the only way to resolve the issue is to reboot the laptop. I have other laptops connected to the same WIFI network without have issues. I have tried updating the BIOS and drivers and issue seems to occur less often but still happens at least 1 time a week. Keep in mind this is my secondary computer so it does not get used as often as my primary computer. The second issue is that the system clock has started to run slow. Even when I have the WIndows 10 setting to adjust clock automatically, over time the system clock falls behind. Only way to temporally resolve it is to reboot the PC or go back to settings and toggle the automatic clock setting off and and then turn it back on. Finally, the last issue is that there are times when the laptop will not turn on at all. Even if I press the power button for 5 to 10 seconds, nothing happens. I then have to unplug the power cord let it sit for an hour or two and then plug power back in and then it will turn on. This could have been a 5 star device for what it offers for the price of $160, but the issues I have run into make it a fair device only.
