    Stopped Working

Unfortunately, I only had it for a few months. When I did have it I would have issues with the touch screen. It would start flashing like buttons were being pressed and would freeze for a few moments after. After using it one night I went to use it the next morning and the laptop never turned back on. Sent it for repair via manufacturer warranty, after a month, I was told that they couldn't find the part so they offered my a full refund. I'm in the market now for an Apple. That was my second Lenovo within a few months.

Keyboard much too sensitive. Just touch it wrong and it will either increase or decrease font size or cause drop downs to appear as if from nowhere.

It is most frustrating to use this notebook computer by Lenovo. I purchased this knowing this is a very cheap unit. However, I never thought using this would be so frustrating. The computer freezes constantly and seems to have a mind of its own. I should have returned it a long time ago but now it is passed the return date. I do not recommend this product.

I've had nothing but issues with this computer. I traded it in the first week I got it for a new one, because I was having so many issues, and I've had problems ever since. It doesn't run programs, it shuts down unexpectedly, and it gives me error after error. I wish I never would have invested $350 into this computer.

This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small button to the right of the power button if you push this button it will boot your system to a page where you can choose to restore to factory default settings. You might want to consider going back to the original settings and start over. You will need to re-install any programs you installed and recreate all your settings. lenovo

    Excellent Laptop

So I figured that I would right a review on this amazing little laptop for a couple of reasons. I was a little apprehensive on purchasing this laptop due to some of the reviews I had read and I am glad I took the chance on this little gem. Now just to make clear I use this laptop for web surfing, emails, social media, and Microsoft Office only. I can honestly say it does all of these things quite beautifully and the speed of this laptop is great when you're doing no more than 2-3 of these things at a time. Be warned it did not work smoothly out of the box. It had a glitchy start up but once I did get it set up and after I installed my McAfee anti virus program and completed all system updates it started to run as smooth as butter and I haven't had any problems since. Mine already had Windows 10 right out of the box which was awesome. In regards to the look and feel of this laptop it is good the keyboard is nice but the track pad is lacking. The screen is very attractive when looking at HD pictures but when you're watching a video expect the same quality as your phone (which now a days is still pretty good). This laptop is ridiculously light and very thin which again is great. The battery last about 5-6 hours which is alright. I read some one complained about the power cord being bulky but it really isn't at all its the same size as a macbook pro charger. All in all this laptop is fabulous and the pros definitely out weigh the cons. Considering the price on sale for $199 it is a steal and I definitely would recommend this laptop to anyone. If your looking for something simple or for school this laptop is perfect!

I've had this laptop for about a week and am considering returning. It definitely will get the job done but the processor is slow and I have to restart the computer twice because the keyboard will stop typing half of the letters. Also, the camera is garbage, you can barely distinguish a face among the pixels. It is very light but it also looks and feels pretty cheap. Should have realized Tony is being paid to write all of his reviews.

This bargain laptop only lasted 1 year. The CPU failed. It is soldered to the mother board so the board would have to be replaced. The cost for repair would have been $230. Product worked as well as expected until it died.

This system has the OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small button near the power button. It is so small you will need a pen or pencil to push it. It should start your system when it otherwise won't. Be sure the system is plugged in and the battery has some charge. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes or download new software.

Nice size, very light, great price for the person that is looking to email, surf and general PC work. Includes Ofiice 365 for a year. I was afraid that this computer would not work well, but it exceeds my expectations. 64 gb storage and Windows 10 . No brainier here. For the money, it is great. Very pleased.

I wanted to downsize just a little from 15.6. It has plenty of storage for me. No DVD drive makes it lighter and I don't need one. It fits the bill perfectly. The downside: I don't have two processes going at once other than opening a few browser tabs at the same time once in a while. Then it is a touch sluggish. I doesn't bog down, I'd just say it's not snappy. The price more than makes up for it.

For the price the laptop works well...I use it for surfing ,email and the Microsoft office products..It handles all three well...I thought it was a bargain when I decided to purchase it and I still feel that way...It's not a 700 dollar machine...You do get what you pay for and in this case your getting a fine ,lightweight, very functional laptop..I don't know of a better deal...Don't expect a Lexus at a Toyota price.

Do not waste time because the board will have your hand hurting because of the design. The software crashes constantly in the first 6 months and graphic hardware has glitches.

I'm not filthy rich, this Lenovo is working out great for my children's high-school and college courses. PROS: + Surprisingly responsive even with the lowly Celeron CPU + SSD drive must be contributing to the quick performance. + Memory upgradable with Micro-SD card slot. + 1yr subscription to Microsoft Office 365. + Windows 7 worked for me, I like Windows 10 even better. + 14" screen is not too small and not too big for portability. + Plays many online games very smoothly (ie Contract Wars). + Very quiet and runs cool. + While plasticky, construction is very good. + Very light, and slim looking, like an inexpensive Macbook. CONS: - Not much on-board storage at 64GB. - Touchpad is not the most responsive. - 2-finger scrolling did take some getting used to (keep fingers apart). - Keyboard layout could be better, some keys shapes are too similar. - Viewing angles are not the greatest. - Speaker placement is at the bottom of the unit. Overall I would recommend this laptop, especially for the price, and it does look sleeker than other competing models I've seen.
