    I bought this Geeksquad certified refurbished back in May, however just started using it on regular basis less than a month ago. Beforehand, I used maybe a dozen times at maximum, as didn't have Wi-Fi at home. Of course that warranty of 90 days is expired. After explaining to both tech support (where they said I have none since didn't buy additional warranty coverage) and computer sales, I am told I can call Lenovo (is still under manufacturer warranty), or take to a store where they will try to get it working..for an additional fee. I asked if they care enough to make note that this particular device was defective when they sent it out in May; that did not compute.

    I bought this Lenovo ideapad 100s for my 83-year-old mom, so it HAS to work easily. The reviews on the Best Buy site and other sites looked great. BUT - the computer went dead during the initial set-up. I went online on another computer and finally found a way to restart it. Then, while I was browsing online, the screen went black and then recovered, with an error message "Intel HD Graphics Driver stopped responding and has recovered." This happened EIGHT TIMES in less than 30 minutes. It's going back into the box and back to the store in the morning. I'm hoping this individual is defective--I'll try another, based on the reviews, but so far I'm underwhelmed.

      Hope the replacement works well for you. If you should run in to the problem where you get the message "Intel Graphics Driver stopped responding..." it is a sign that there is a graphics driver that needs to be updated. You can follow the link below to, Lenovo.com support-drivers to look for new graphics drivers for your specific system. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes or download any new software.

    Good computer for Emails and Facebook

    Its a good computer for Daily emails and Facebook however I would not recommend it for heavy office or company work. Have had for a couple months and have had some issues already. But its ok wouldn't buy another one

    Very Slow

    I thought this would be a serviceable machine for internet and world processing, but it was apparent within an hour how slow it was and would be. For the price it may be useful in limited situations, but spending $350-$400 is worth it to get something many times better, and that's the low end.
