Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend taking advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.     I got this for a friend whose former laptop's screen was shattered. I was greatly surprised that it I couldn't find a replacement screen even though the laptop is only 5 years old. This was a good deal for a Lenovo laptop and I have had a Lenovo lapptop for over 4 years now and haven't had any issues with it. My friend is enjoying this new laptop and very thankful to me for it.
