    While I would love to give a glowing review of this laptop, I regret that I cannot due to the terrible experience I've had with the order process. I placed my order, expecting prompt delivery, but instead, I’m frustrated by the lack of communication. According to the tracking details, my laptop was supposedly ready to ship on December 2nd, only to be “returned” to Best Buy on December 9th without any explanation. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I called customer service, only to be told that UPS had returned the laptop because they couldn't ship it. How is this even possible, and why did it take a full seven days for this to be resolved? As if that wasn’t bad enough, I was then transferred to another representative who suggested I repurchase the laptop at the current price. I was told that if the price drops, I could get a refund—this makes absolutely no sense. I bought the laptop on Cyber Monday, taking advantage of a sale price. Why should I now have to pay more for the same item? I’m in desperate need of a new laptop, and because of poor communication and delays, I’m left with nothing. To make matters worse, I wasn’t even given the option to pick up the laptop, which could have been a simple solution. This entire experience has been disappointing, and I’m left with no product and a lot of frustration.

    Great Laptop with Poor Customer Service

    The product is good but BestBuy service was really one of my worst experiences. They did not provided me with power adaptor ( can’t imagine a laptop without power cord) because it was open box , nothing mentioned in the description that it will not come wirh power cable. They acted smart and asked me to return as they made it feel like doing a favor by giving discount on open box. I called customer care they said I should get power adaptor but of no help as she asked me to go back to store and again talk to the same guys. I purchase separate adaptor from Amazon which is working fine.

    I can not stress this enough: do not get this computer. The piece of crap lasted just past its 60 day warranty before its main function became a paperweight. It’s constantly crashing, the blue screen of death, about 3 times in less than 2 minutes and it is brand new! Geek squad had been about as helpful as the computer at this point. I live in a remote area and need it for school so getting fixed has been nothing short of a hassle. I can't even get it fixed remotely and have to make several trips with time and resources I don’t have and at this point I’d rather just get a whole other computer. I wish everyone can save themselves the headache and just look at any other computer

    BB Sold me a Used Product as New/Hinge Issues

    Two 1/2 years ago I bought almost the same exact Lenovo IdeaPad @ BB, which is known to have Hinge issues -- mine did. I then bought this one as a replacement. What I received was a Used item although I paid for a new one. BB would not pay for return shipping nor did they admit they sent a Used item, although it was clearly in that state when received. Be careful with BB and, also, know that these Lenovo's have a known issue with the hinges breaking that is, basically, Laptop Death. Beware.

    Nice computer. Nice screen and keyboard. BUT >> Rated 8 GIGs RAM. Acts like it only has 4 or 5 GIGs. If you Bluetooth stream music to a stereo and open another screen on the computer to do something else while listening, the music stutters to where it is unlistenable.

    I definitely do not recommend this product, the battery lasts only 1h and 30 minutes after being charged at 100%. I bought this because my old computer was over 10 years old and needed to be replaced, however the disappointment was huge with this purchase. And now I can not go back because the deadline has passed. I do not indicate! Simply the computer works most of the time connected, if you need to take it to work and class, do not count on this without having your charger ...

      Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

    Buy Something Else

    I was not aware that in order to even use this machine one must log in to a Microsoft account. It's a necessity to get to the desktop. I never would have bought this thing at any price. About an hour after I opened the box on December 11, I went online to return it. After going through the usually useless chat bot and a real person who claimed that they already had the return and I’d see a refund in 2 to 3 days, I was told by another person that they arranged to have UPS pick it up, and was advised that I’d receive an email or phone call within 24 hours, with a caution to be sure to check my spam and junk folders. Still checking.

    Refuses refund on Norton comp didn't support

    computer is great. however when trying to download "free trial of Norton" it wouldn't support it. you have to put in your credit card information, and we got charged $94 for norton service we never used or downloaded. Best Buy WILL NOT refund this service even if never downloaded or used. I spent hours trying to get it back w/ zero results. i will never purchase from best buy again.

    I had a system failure with this computer. It took over a month to resolve of being on the telephone with lenovo to rectifie, somewhat, the problem. For me I spent 25% of my income to purchase this disappointing piece of junk. I'm now stuck with this...... It still drops out of wifi and reconnects all on its own. Never will recommend this brand to anyone!

    Less than a week and no wi-fi connectivity

    I think the update on 12/20/24 knocked my wi-fi connection out and I can’t get it back even after uninstalling the update. It is not my router or provider because my tvs and cell phones connect to wi-fi perfectly. FRUSTRATING!

    I bought a HP and took it to Geek dept. They GeekSquad said it was not compatable to what I had so he went and pulled another computer A Lenovo. I am having a hard time because it is not like what I had. I feel I have spent almost 500 dollars for nothing. They were told I wanted another HP.

    Don't do it

    Sounds too good to be true? It is. The laptop worked fine for one evening. The next morning: not so much. It no longer detects any USB drive (including the mouse). Then the first restart ended in a frozen blue screen after a hard restart (soft restart failed.) Returning it today.
