Not a good purchase. My machine was running really slow so I decided to open it up and found out that it only had 4GB of ram. Even after upgrading my machine to an 8GB stick it’s still very slow with 100% CPU usage at all times. I’m a college student so I’m sticking with it until I get a graduation Yoga or MacBook

Only had it for 2 seconds after getting it home. We opened it and keys popped off everywhere. Puchased a much nicer computer on Evine and had 6 mo to pay it off so I bought one for myself as well as my granddaughter. Read the reviews on keys popping off and believe it. Took it back the next morning.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15 laptop. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

Could not get Microsoft to download even google chrome! This laptop has Windows 10S which I believe stands for SIMPLE! Cuz you cannot download anything. The system prevents you from anything that isn’t in the windows library. Returned it and got a better laptop.

    Mixed feelings about this one

All in all its a good laptop with some bumps. The build quality feels nice and seems to be sturdy. OS operates smoothly, however initially i was severely limited with what i could do. Spent quite a while trying to find out what was going on and it turned out to be S-Mode which is an absolute joke! Once i disabled this Windows 10 ran much better and i was able to installed the software i wanted. I hate how it MADE me sign in with a Microsoft account as opposed to simply allowing me to create a local account. The OS seems very determined to keep you signed in to a microsoft account. Prior to fixing these issues on my own i called lenovo for support and was told that to receive software support i needed to buy a warranty plan. This was absolutely ridiculous! Luckily i figured it out on my own. One thing that really ruins the experience for me is the touchpad. it is downright awful. It is not smooth at all and sometimes doesnt respond the way you would expect it too. There are times where I'm scrolling and my finger doesnt glide smoothly(too much friction sometimes) like say on my macbook or other quality laptops. If you're ok using a mouse, then i feel you will like this laptop, however if you are a heavy touchpad user, stay way, you will get frustrated. I'll give this laptop 3.5 *s

With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Lenovo

The Lenovo line seems to have nothing under the hood. It stumbles around & takes an inordinate amount of time to load on power up. About the same time as this purchase, I also purchased an HP. Ot has proven to be a much better system.

Build quality is good. Screen is good. Sound quality is good. Battery is good. Not the fastest laptop but it does it's job. Don't expect too much from this laptop. It's good enough to browse the internet, watching media, and with running low settings, possible casual gaming. I have been searching for a laptop with this price range and I found it. Definitely worth buying if you are looking for a budget laptop with decent specs.

I purchased this on sale about a week ago and I'm very happy with this purchase! Easy to get up and running, I immediately did all the updates and switched to full Windows 10 from the "S" version to be able to run more software ( free and easy to change) This laptop runs very well, boots up quickly and is well made. At this price point I feel like this is an incredible value. I HIGHLY recommend this! Also as a side note this computer DOES have a DVD drive which plays DVD movies and gives you the ability to add software. The ad says that it does not have a DVD drive so this was an added bonus for me!
