Works ok for an inexpensive laptop

Keyboard buttons are sticky. You often need to pull them up with your fingernail. Sometimes, It's hard to even sign on to the laptop since the sticky keys aren't always obvious. Customer support says we must have spilled something on it, which we did not. And even if we did, we have the complete warranty to cover that. It's only $500 so I guess they consider this a disposable device. Customer support is almost impossible to contact unless you want to sit on the phone for an hour or so. This is really poor quality and service.

    I despise this thing

Let me preface this by saying I have used and loved Lenovo computers for more than 10 years. So when I had to replace my very outdated Lenovo almost 6 months ago, I looked again to Lenovo and this seemed like a great combination of laptop and touchscreen. Big. Mistake. How do I hate thee? I hate the spongy feel of the keys. I hate the way the keyboard moves when I type, like i'm typing on a cheap piece of plastic. Oh wait. I am. I hate the scaling of the keyboard, which six months later I am still trying to adjust to. (C'mon, this isn't my first rodeo. I have adapted quickly to many a keyboard change in my life. Not this one.) I hate the way the cursor just up and disappears right when you are in the middle of doing something. Where did it go? I can't see it anymore. Tap tap tap. Move the touch pad. Tap tap tap. Slide your finger back nd forth an the touch pad. Where did you go? Oh. Finally. There you are. If this happened once in a while I could deal with it, but it happens many times a day. I can usually get it back with some tapping, but at times, I have to go into the Task Manager and then exit to get the cursor back. I went to the Lenovo support site and this appears to be a persistent (as in well over a year) and unresolved issue. Talk about a productivity suck! I hate how difficult it can be to wake up after it has gone to sleep. Again, a persistent problem across the product line. I hate the way Bluetooth doesn't work. That's right. It's doesn't work. It can't connect with a simple speaker I purchased about a year ago. Those are the issues I can think of off the top of my head. Any one of them I could deal with if ALL of them weren't happening multiple times a day so even the smallest of tasks such as writing a simple word document doesn't go smoothly. If I could afford a new one, I would gladly toss this one in the nearest dumpster. So regretting I didn't just bring it back, but instead figured I could get used to the little quirks as I have quickly done with every other computer. Nope.

I purchased 3 of these yoga 2' s for my small grand boys to play games on. They seem to set up with no problems, one was a bit slower so I reset it to factory setting and it worked just as fast as the other two. Teaching them windows 10 is the hardest part of it all because I'm still using windows 7.lol

Perfect solution for my son. As a freshman in high school it matches the windows base computers he has been using. The upgrade from the penguin to the i3 seems like a no-brainer.

Does not compare to the surface pro 3! For this price I would expect the keyboard to detach. I exchanged it from surface pro 3 and after using the pro 3 I had to go back. The pro 3 is so much better and less bulky, plus the deal they have going online with a free gift card , can't be beat!

    Terrible Laptop!

I've had this for 2 days and absolutely hate it. I figured it would be somewhat slow because it is the i3 but WOW! I tried doing homework the first day and i literally had to wait anywhere between 5 - 20 minutes every time I had to load a new page. Also, tried listening to Pandora while doing homework and that completely jammed up the laptop. Now, on the second day of use, the touch screen feature completely went out. I went with Lenovo because of the suggestions from BB employees but I'll be returning it today and getting a different brand. I gave it 2 stars because I really like the way the screen looks compared to my HP laptop.

    Displeased

I did my research before purchasing, and the specs seemed great for the price, but there were a few issues that led me to return it : -too small. Seems great for traveling, but websites don't fit in the tiny screen unless they area size 6 font -too shiny. The touch screen is so shiny, my eyes were burning after 5 minutes of use. It was honestly giving me headaches -touch screen? What a waste of time. It's not a tablet, I didn't enjoy touching it, and with everything so small I needed a mouse for accuracy anyhow! -lenovo. Those people made way way too many proprietary apps, it was obnoxious to go through and remove them. The photo editor for example, at as the default program, and it sucks. In the end I went with a 14 inch non touch screen, and it's fantastic.

This tablet does what I need for light use, I like the sturdiness of the transistion from laptop to tablet mode. I do wish it ran a bit faster though.

It works wonders for a 2 in one flipbook. However the vents are located on the underside and blow into the screen when in tablet mode

I found the Yoga to be too finicky and frustrating to use. I did not end up liking the 2 in 1 feature as I thought I would. The keyboard on the 11" was too cramped not enjoyable to use for me at all. I didn't like Windows 8 wither. After a lot of thought, I ended up returning the Yoga and splurged for a Macbook Air (my first Mac) and it was the best decision I ever made. I'll never go back to Windows.

I was so excited to upgrade my computer from a 6 year old hp. But this computer has given me nothing but grief in the month that I've owned it. Internet hardly works even with a good connection. And now computer keeps shutting down on me and won't restart. It gets half way through the boot up and then shuts off. Even when I try to go into recovery mode. I love the design and tablet feel of the computer but right now it's just a $600 paperweight.

I bought a Lenovo Yoga 11S at Best Buy about a year ago because it had the foldover feature and 500GHD. Now I'm having all these wifi connection issues and when I go to the web to find a solution, everybody else is having the same problem. And there doesn't seem to be an answer to the problem. I thought the Lenovo brand would be a clincher but, now, I guess I won't be buying anymore Lenovos. Look at Dell, they have the same computer and it probably won't be a problem.

This sounds like a driver update issue. You can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for new driver updates for network, WiFi drivers for your specific system. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes on your system, then create a new restore point after the issue is fixed. Here is the link:

This is my second Lenovo (I had to return the first one 3 weeks ago because it simply didn't work consistently, or more truthfully it didn't work.) I missed the trade back date for the second one so I am stuck with this glorified door stop or paper weight (if you are the recycle/reuse type). If the spyware issue was resolved I think the computer would fail to work all-together because the spyware is likely keeping the OS running. Find something else regardless of age or OS. If you are still interested in the Yoga 2 then I am happy to sell you mine nearly at cost.

worst buy ever! The screen keep on flickering n keep on frozing. I had many laptops in the past and I have never had any complain about it. This laptop is by far the worst laptop that I had ever bought. I take really good care of my laptop but this laptop is not well made. The first few weeks was okay but after 2-3 months the laptop began to flicker, the screen keep on frozening and the screen keep on flashing black, which I have to shut it down a few time to get it to stop flashing. This is my First time buying a lenovo laptop an it will be my last. I would highly not recommend this laptop to anyone unless they want a flickering, flashing, frozening laptop. I google reviews on this laptop and a lot of people are having the same problem with this laptop like how I were. Should have done my homework first before buying this. Its a total waste of money!
