Although it does come with the Lenovo "bloatware" installed, it's fairly unobtrusive. The laptop doesn't feel flimsy or weak, but still maintains its light-weight body. Overall this is a great machine for the price.

One minor problem so far -pop up pick boxes in Quicken occasionally display partially offscreen. Not sure if the problem is the display or Quicken. Updated video driver didn't help. Only 2 USB ports if that matters to you.

Touch screen issues

Otherwise good laptop! Other than the placement of the right shift key- that was a big change to get used to!

Posted .This issue with the touchscreen is not a common one. The fact that both models you have used had the same problem points to a conflict with software. Be sure any programs you are installing are compatible with Windows 10. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

And another the thing that happened to me was sudden shut down several times in half of a month. The laptop wouldn't turn on until 15 minutes later (even though the cord was already plugged in).

Posted .Thank you for giving the Lenovo Yoga 710-14 a try. With regard to the fan noise and shutdown issues you mention with your device, there is a BIOS driver update for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:
