With regard to the fan noise issue you mention with your device, there may be a BIOS driver update for your specific system that could help the noise issue. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

Great multipurpose Laptop

I was looking for a product that was dependable, affordable and met basic requirements with excellent performance. The machines were for non-tech staff. Tablet mode and touch screen allows great flexibility for sales. In sum: Reliable, fast and everything needed plus some. Excelent value.

I like the ease of typing on keyboard

It starts up fast and is easy to navigate. Only thing I don't like is it's missing number keypad on right hand side. I did like that feature on our other laptop.

Great, flexible notebook

I'm not thrilled with the mousepad, though. It is more difficult to control than my old ThinkPad. I wish it were a bit smaller, but then I wouldn't have 2 USB ports.

Posted .With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Plus, it’s easy to carry around the house or to take in a backpack. The touchscreen and tablet features are a bonus, but I don’t use them often. The only con is that it needs another USB port or two.

Not quite as thin as the upper line, but thin enough to reasonably use as a heavy tablet. While the SSD is smaller than I really want, it is relatively fast and the SD card reader will provide any additional storage I need.

Including a USB type C port. Its very capable for all the rigors I put it through. Would recommend this laptop to anyone who wants a higher-end PC with all the trimmings.

Very Spiffy Machine

Everything works excellently. Thought I was taking some chance with an open box system - but absolutely no concern whatever in this regard. The fourteen inch is just right Fifteen a little to big and eleven too small.

Solid state drive is a must it makes the computer go a lot faster the computer looks really nice and sleek also operates very well and fast enough performance for you to do virtually anything except world class graphic design but even graphic designers don't do that.
