    So far no problems but only one USB & NO DVD have acquired a hub but the DVD drawer program caused trouble . The program just did not connect going through the hub. Had to re-boot and fuss around to get it to connect to the lap top C drive & D drive ????

    The laptop is really fast but sometimes the brightness likes to lower itself and then go back up, this only happens if the laptop brightness isn't at max. The problem only last 2 seconds at most so it shouldn't bother you too much.

    I have a computer this size and I think it's a good compromise between usability and portability. Although the storage drive is small, it should be ok for a student. The rest of the specs seem fine. I never opened the box; it was a gift.
