Posted .This is a good mid-range configuration with the Dual-Core/Four-Thread Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid state hard drive. We recommend you confirm that this configuration is compatible with any specific software you plan on installing on the computer, before you invest. Also keep in mind that this is an ultra-portable computer. It is a 12.5" size computer. The keyboard is very compact. If you are going to be doing a lot of data entry and/or word processing, you may want to consider using a full-sized external keyboard and mouse.

Disappointed in laptop

But when using as a laptop the mouse pad stops working after a few minutes. I took it back to store and they were reluctant to trade me for a new one (I was at the end of my 2 week return period). I had already downloaded a lot of software and was using it to run my business. I could not be without it for a week like they said and I was also going to get charged a fee for the transfer. I kept it and just use a wireless mouse instead.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-12. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the touchpad on your Yoga 720-12. This issue is caused by a recent Windows 10 update. Try using the HotKey in the in the F6 position on your keyboard. This HotKey toggles the touchpad on/off. The Windows 10 update changed the default for this key from "on" to "off". There is also a permanent fix for this issue, a BIOS/driver update available. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. Use the "Update Your System" feature to be sure you get all of the BIOS and drive updates for your specific device. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. If the problem persists, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Here is the link:

Posted .The issue you mention with the touchpad may be fix with a BIOS Driver update. You can easily check for BIOS and Driver update by using the Lenovo Utility software installed on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
