Good Computer But Keyboard Problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked this computer but I had to return it because i had multiple issues with the keys sticking or the computer keyboard would freeze up or malfunction in some way after folding the computer back to laptop style from tablet style. In the store, I noticed that there were a large number of other YOGA laptops that were returned and sold as "Open Box". I didn't want to risk problems continuing so I ended up exchanging it. Other than that, It was fast and I really liked the functionality and design.

With regard to the keyboard issues you mention with your device, there are new driver updates for your specific system that can correct this issue. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. Use the "Update Your System" feature to be sure you get all of the BIOS and drive updates for your specific device. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-12. This is a high performance, ultra portable, 2 in 1 system with its Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal. There are Lenovo utilities installed on the device to help you maintain the health of the device. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window. Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up.

Not heavy at all. I also love that I can swith it to tablet mode to read, take notes or watch Netflix. It has more than enough memory for what I need.

It’s not too big and light which is wonderful and runs incredibly smooth. Easy to use and a nice amount of storage. Only downside is that there’s only one USB port. Other than that, perfect purchase.

There is limited space for ports. There is one standard USB 3.0 port and one USB-c port. If you need more standard USB ports for this device, you might want to consider using a USB Hub with this device.

Great all-around laptop

I did a bit of research before going to the store and had it narrowed to 3 PCs. This little machine has powerful internals, but once you see the display it is game over. It is SO crisp!

The main features that sold me on this was that I could use it as a tablet and it was extremely light. I got tired of lugging around a heavy macbook on campus. Bought two of them and had issues with the touchscreen on one of them just a month or 2 in. My boyfriend didn't care too much about it, so we let it be. But my touchscreen stopped working today and I'm pretty disappointed about it. I used it a lot with games and used the pen to take notes. It was really convenient. Without the touchscreen working, the laptop no longer feels like a 2-in-1 and I feel like I wasted money. To top it off, when I looked into it, it seems to be a common issue with Lenovo. Also, the memory sucks and gets full super quick. That's my own fault for not thinking about it before though. I just got a separate hard drive. For basic needs, it gets the job done. But if you're drawn in by the features of the tablet mode/touchscreen, then I'd pass. Not worth the price for it to stop working so quickly.
