Purchased this laptop for my son to use for college. He is planning to major in computer science and he has been very satisfied with this laptop.

This laptop is great. Capable of using it for school, gaming, personal use. I've been waiting for a laptop like this for awhile. Could use some more usb ports, hdmi port and a number key pad but these were not things i had a high priority for.

Going back to school I needed something that could handle school work, games, drawing, and more. It was tough because there are so many choices and I really had to do the research. This computer came out on top each and every time. The only point that I can say that makes this computer lose a little and this is personal preference is the size/weight. It's not easy to hold in tablet mode unless you have a beefed up arm muscles. It is doable but not super practical. I wanted the bigger screen and beefer computer power so it comes at a price. If you want portability, surface would have been my second choice followed by the HP Spectre. I just wanted more bang for my buck and what you get in this laptop verse the others, just wins. If you don't need the extra boom and stuff...the price still wins. If this wasn't being typed on a phone I'd write more but don't take my word, do what I did and physically go to a bestbuy or computer store and try them all. It comes down to what suits your needs.

This is a super fast and flexible 15 inch touch screen computer with pen capability. The startup the is nothing less than spectacular and the screen is very high resolution, great for viewing video. I cannot think of anything wrong with this machine and everything just seems right. I highly recommend it to individuals who are more than just casual users.

Overall a much better price than expected for its specifications, especially when compared to a comparable MAC product that I had reviewed

i needed a laptop powerful enough to edit 4K video. This model is more than capable of doing that for me. the i7 processor it top/near top of the line, The boot time of the pc is less than 10 seconds, single programs and applications even faster. No card reader, but was rectified with a $15 external reader. Ive been very pleased with my purchase.

It is a fine laptop. Touch screen can take time to get used too.

... but needed one for business. I've been using a MAC at home iPad etc but thought the Apple laptops were just too expensive. This Lenovo is just amazing and I couldn't be happier. It's touch screen works Great, it boots up super fast and I can't remember the last time I sat down at my MAC desktop. Great Value!

Tired or laptop crashing (usually the hard drive) every 3 years. went with SSD drive this time, will see if lasts beyond 3 years.

Love the SSD quick boot. The weight of this is wonderful. Handles desktop publishing and more very well. Can't quite figure out the Bamboo touchscreen stuff for the pen I purchased. Maybe just don't have the right app to use it with. But I do love the touchscreen. My only complaints are about windows itself, and not the machine.

I bought this for my daughter who started college last year and it's been more than a year since she's used it and she loves it. The screen is crisp and sharp. She also loves the keyboard because it has a tactile feel. Although it is slim and light, this laptop packs a punch and performance is top notch. Would recommend.

I never owned a Lenovo computer before and was bit skeptical, but the computer does all I need it to do. I will be traveling some over the next few months and needed something that worked well and was fast. It will even show 4K movies. I have run it through its paces and I am very pleased. Been using it about a month now.

After having a bad experience with a previous lenovo (Y580) in which the battery stopped charging after using the battery gauge calibration utility(an known issue they never resolved), I took a gamble and bought this Yoga 720 4K for my son because I liked the versatility of a 2-in-1 with great (on paper) specs (7th gen Core I7; discrete 14nm NVidia Graphics; NVMe SSD, Thunderbolt 3, etc.). I had to return the first unit because a visible (and very distracting) horizontal line appeared across the top right corner of the screen after a couple of weeks of use. The replacement unit seemed to be fine only for the exact same issue to affect it shortly after my return/exchange period expired. Very very dissappointed!! Will never buy or recommend a Lenovo again!

Get this if you want a laptop that has a quad core with hyperthreading, can do light gaming, has fast storage, and looks like a 'normal' laptop. But, do not get this if you have a problem with loud fan noise while gaming or high surface temperatures. The fan(s) have a well-managed curve, meaning they ramp up and down responsively. But, it does seem distractingly loud and hot. If this does not bother you, all other aspects are favorable: good build quality, nice keyboard feel, 4k screen has decent color gamut, not great but decent. The screen line that other 4k screen owners reported never happened to me.

Really enjoy using our new Lenovo laptop. With the sold state hard drive and the Intel i7 core processor we love the speed.

A great laptop for everything. I like it better than the yoga 910 and would recommend it over the 910 due to the screen size

Great laptop but small quirks worth considering before purchase: Only a few USB ports. No SD card slot or HDMI input either. Had to buy an adapter. Power button being on the side of the computer seems weird too.

My old laptop was 8 years old so I needed a new one. This is the one I chose with the hopes this one last me a few years.
