Best Laptop I've ever Owned.

I am an Interior Design Student, and so I needed a laptop that could handle heavy programs such as AUTOCAD and REVIT. This laptop perfectly handles any program I throw at it! I have had it for a couple of months now, and I still absolutley LOVE it. The only downside is that mine has a pretty short battery life. :)

This configuration ships with a 6CELL 72WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 8 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

The support/documentation when needed from Lenovo has been exceptional. I bought this computer On Sale and its was/is an unbelievable Value. Even more so today as Lenovo I believe only makes the 14" 4K screen same configuration today.

With regard to normal operating temperatures of this device, the Intel core i7-7700HQ processor, has a mid-range normal operating temperature of 150-degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum temperature is 212-degrees Fahrenheit. The cooling system will work to keep the system within these operating temperatures when the device is working properly. If you feel the temperatures of your device are above these levels, you should bring the device in to your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad look at it ASAP.

I was skeptical about the screen problems reported by other users but it has worked perfectly for 2 years in a row now. I am really happy with it. I highly recommend it. Be happy and stay safe during the pandemic era!!

Not only is it simple to take notes with but it is fast and can do many things at once. Because I'm also a gamer it can handle games pretty dang well. Overall I'm very pleased with this laptop and since it was a college purchase I got a lot of discounts for it so it is worth the money.

I quickly feel in love with the power and ease of use of the Lenovo. It has a bright 4K touch screen. You can fold it into a tablet, it’s awesome!

Has the 7700HQ, not top of the line but still very competitive. The 1050 graphics is reasonable for most medium intensive games. Runs fairly hot but not nearly as hot as the Dell G7 he tried first.

This is a high performance system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. Be sure all cooling vents are kept clear for optimum cooling.

And the battery doesn't last as long as advertised. Other than that I have no issues and am glad a bought it.

Rather disappointed, but Geek Squad was able to get one in a little over a week since it was not stocked locally. So far works like a champ.

I started researching and kept coming back to the YOGA! The only thing I do not like is the keyboard without your # key pad on the right. For us who are older and used to crunching #'s it is very inconvenient. Everything else is great so far!
