    Poor design

There are a few problems with this laptop; Several months since a brought the keyboard has become an issue, it often stops working entirely and requires several reboots until it will work again. The power button is inconveniently located on the side, so it's easy to hit by mistake. The internal microphone is so poor as to be entirely useless and there isn't a separate microphone port to use. It has few ports in general relying on USB C.

The reason for the power button being on the side of this device is because it is a 2 in 1 system. It can be used as either a laptop or tablet. The power button on the side id the most functional in all the possible positions this device can be used in. The 3.5mm headset jack is both earphone and microphone capable, so you can use an external microphone compatible with a 3.5mm port with this device. With regard to the keyboard issue you mention, there may be driver updates for your specific system that can fix this issue. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. Use the "Update Your System" feature to be sure you get all of the BIOS and drive updates for your specific device. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. If the problem persists, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Here is the link:

    Crashed after 3 weeks

I bought this system per the recommendation of the Best Buy associate. This was replacing a 2 year old Asus that had a motherboard crash. It took me three days to get all of my software and data on the new Lenovo and 2.5 weeks later this laptop crashed to the point that I can't even get the system bios to come up. Based on my research today, this is a known issue but they are still selling them at Best Buy. I would steer clear..

This sounds like a software compatibility issue. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off, there can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. lenovo

Came dirty (and this is new)

Bad first impression, while opening the box, I noticed the laptop came with dirty finger prints. I haven't turned it on yet, but I am not happy. If I am paying for a new product, at least I expect the new product looks new. It may not sounds like a big deal, but think about it... What happen to the Quality Control? what else will I find on the laptop? Not happy at all.

All new Lenovo Products ship in a sealed Lenovo Logoed box. There is also a Lenovo Logoed seal on the box to guarantee that it has not been opened. If this seal is broken, the product may not be new. If your Lenovo Yoga 720-15 came with fingerprints and dirt on it, most likely the device is not new. We recommend you contact your seller and confirm you were shipped a new product. lenovo

Does not boot from USB flash drive

I could not boot my laptop from USB flash drive. BIOS does not even have an option to boot from USB. I disabled 'Fast Boot', but it did not help. I called customer support and they could not solve this problem too. I returned my laptop.
