I love the touchscreen as I am use to my IPAD touchscreen and the Lenovo handles just like a tablet and a laptop, the best of both worlds. Its compact and very lightweight and I like that also. Overall it has been a great purchase. No complaints here.

Nice laptop for a college student

Our first one had problems shortly after we purchased it. Best Buy sent it back for us for repairs. About 1 month after getting it back, it totally died! So with that experience, why 4 stars? Well, my daughter likes the laptop and the replacement has been working great, but the reason I gave it 4 stars is because of Best Buy. They were fantastic at helping me take care of it. They sent it back for me originally and then when it died a few weeks later, they replaced it for us. It was an almost painless experience. We were very happy customers. So I'd rate Best Buy 5 stars and the computer 3.

Great lightweight computer

The price point wasn't too bad. I was tore between this and the HP pavilion 360 with a 10th gen core 5 processor. I choose Lenovo because that what I previously had. I did have issues with the WIFI connectivity but after reading the reviews and following the troubleshooting steps it works perfect.

This is easily accomplished by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

I was interested in the Microsoft surface laptop at the time, however the sales representative at Best Buy pointed me in this direction since they are pretty comparable. I was hesitant from the start because I was not familiar with the lenovo brand. I ended up buying the product because it had a pretty high overall rating. I did extensive research that day when I returned home and called Best Buy customer service to answer some of my questions (one being about the repeated screen flickering reviews). I was not treated the nicest, but overall came to the conclusion that this laptop was going to work for me as a student. Three months ago the screen flicker started to appear on my computer! It has proceeded to get worse and worse and is super frustrating. I called Lenovo and they said it is most likely a hardware issue. They initially were going to do nothing for me because I was 3 days out of the one year warranty. Lenovo customer service finally agreed to allow me to send in my computer for a one time fix. This is going to take about 20 days from start to finish (and there is still a chance the issue can come back!). Luckily I have a family member's laptop I can borrow since I am a full time student. I would not recommend this laptop or lenovo products because I know this is a repeated issue. If it wasn't for the flicker this computer would easily be a 4 star rating.

Good middle ground but Lenovo stopped making them

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had it for a year now, I use it quite a lot for school (light work) though this thing can handle a lot from CADs like solidwork and CREO to sony vegas and DAWs like reaper and pro tools. Ever since quarantine I use it pretty much everyday. Very slim, light and minimalistic design, has backlit keyboard too. It started getting slower recently (about a year after owning) and not sure if that's because my files are piling up (256gb isn't enough for me) but will clean up and see if it speeds up. I don't know what the life expectancy is for laptops these days but I really hope mine speeds back up, otherwise, it's time for an upgrade.

I keep forgetting it is touchscreen, so when I'm cleaning the screen I have to remember not to have my work open. LOL We've not had any problems with it. Our daughter had a similar Lenovo all 4 years of college so we know the battery life is pretty good. Hope you enjoy yours!

It is very lightweight and has the tablet mode which I really like. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is I wish it had the keypad option for the numbers.

The cursor is a little glitchy but gets you where you want to go. The only issue I’ve found is it randomly disconnects from the WiFi and some of the apps don’t work unless you completely uninstall them and redo it. This mostly happens when I’m not at home. Odds are it’s something totally fixable I just haven’t figured it out yet. The speed is great, the finger print reader is accurate, the keyboard is reliable, and it’s light enough that I don’t even notice I’m carrying it with me. And that’s all I was looking for.

Amazing Lightweight Laptop W/ Heavyweight Features

Its only downfall is the Battery life is not that great. On PowerSaver mode, I can probably get about 2 hours of regular use out of it such as spreadsheets, light Browsing and such. It also doesn't have a built in Ethernet port so of you want to use hardwire instead of Wireless then you'll need to purchase an adapter. Other than that.. Its Amazing. Has all the features you could possibly want such as Bluetooth, Screen Sharing, Fingerprint Reader, 2 USB C ports for fast Charging and 1 Regular USB port. High Rez Display and a Ton More. Great Laptop, No Regrets.

It's lightweight, which is a must since I commute into work everyday, yet powerful enough for me to get my work done. The keyboard is fantastic and the track pad is smooth and responsive. I haven't found much of a need for the 360 degree screen but it's a neat feature to have nonetheless. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-13. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
