SCREEN CRACKS EASY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BE WARNED! SCREEN CRACKS WHEN CLOSING IT. I bought this computer less than a week ago. The third time I went to use it I opened it up and the screen was cracked. I’m not sure if it is a factory defect or what, but it was never dropped and stored in the box it came in. The only thing I can think of is it cracked when I was closing it since the crack originates from the corner of the plastic hinge. See photo. I can’t say much about the performance since I never really got the chance to use it. If you do buy this laptop I would purchase the Best Buy accidental warranty. Unfortunately I did not realize how fragile the screen would be and was only going to use it occasionally at home so I did not buy it. Now I have to spend over $200 to have the screen replaced. I would not recommend this product due to the screen.

Lenovo finally admitted their‘s and issue with the screw but will not correct it. Had to go to you tube correct the issue. Works for a while but flicking comes back. Stay away from Lenovo.

In fact, it lasts about 4 hours just sitting there doing nothing. You can unplug the power and watch the system estimate the remaining battery life. Sorry folks. If you can't make a good battery, the laptop is not good.

Posted .This model actually ships with a 4CELL 48WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 10.5 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. No it's not my home wifi that's the problem because all the other devices are working perfectly fine. Lenovo Tech Support are too busy to answer calls to help with the issue.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 730-13, model number 81CT0008US, ships with 5G, 802.11AC frequency WiFi, which is up to 3X faster than standard 802.11N WiFi. Be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by using the Lenovo Utility software. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Took it to geek squad at least 3 times and they couldn't find any programs with it! Do not buy this computer. There are many other options out there

Poor quality control

First Lenovo Yoga 730 had no sound, rebooting/driver changes couldn't fix, exchanged it and the second one had a faulty trackpad such that pressure on pad was not reliably generating "click". Exchanged again and am hoping third one works... at least it has sound and functional trackpad and am hoping nothing else goes wrong. This is my first Lenovo product but am now very concerned about their quality control process as it clearly allowed two defective models on the market.

Posted .We are sorry to hear you had issues with the Lenovo Yoga 730-13. With regard to the audio on the device, be sure the speakers are on. Try the HotKey in the F1 position. This HotKey toggles the speakers on/off. Additionally, be sure the trackpad is turned on. The HotKey in the F6 position toggles the touchpad on/off. Also, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
