Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 730-13 ships with a 4CELL 48WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 10 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. To maximize battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. Great, Reliable Laptop with a few Downsides

Haws a really nice low profile look too, a very aesthetically pleasing laptop. The screen looks great too, good colors. Touch screen is quick and responsive, no problems there either. The hinge feels solid, its very good. It is a powerful laptop and performs well. Cons: The screen doesn't get too bright. Also the battery is not amazing, I get around 5 hours of charge on it. The part in between hinges on the screen also makes a creaky noise when pressed on with a bit of power.

Be sure you have auto brightness turned off for maximum brightness. I like how it folds both ways, and how it automatically switches to tablet mode when the computer is folded. It connects to the Wi-Fi quickly, and the battery life one day (7-8 hours). Overall, this a great computer for anyone, especially if they're a high school student too.

Since the majority of his school work is now completed online, I felt this purchase would be beneficial for now, and for the upcoming high school years. He seems completely happy with the computer. Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Lenovo Yoga 730 is a great laptop if what you need is something between a high performance machine and a chromebook. I´ve been using it for my master studies but also for my hobby: having fun with flight simulator (which has high requirements). At first I wasn´t sure If the flight simulator software would work but it does!! and the laptop stays cool and responds fast. I have also installed and played some games like The Sims and it works great. I´ve been experiencing some problem with the mouse pointer but is something too small to say that it ruins the experience.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

It doesn’t emit any noise when operating, so it’s ideal for quiet environments. All of the Lenovo products I’ve owned have been good to me. Its size and weight (about 2.5 lbs) is perfect to slip in a bag and take anywhere.

Solid ultrabook - Notorious display issues.

Hinge has held up over the year I've owned this. Touchscreen works fine. Thunderbolt ports are a real plus. Only issue is the display started to flicker then eventually went out. Fixed by loosening the display cable inside the laptop and reseating the connection to the mainboard. This is an issue that many seem to have. Not a problem if you're tech savvy, but I can see others sending this in for service and spending hundreds. Other than that its a solid lappy.

It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. Be sure to always be sure the venting ports are clear.

I’ve had multiple wrist surgeries so I tend to drop a lot of stuff when my wrist is tired and has been used all day. The Lenovo yoga is so lightweight I love it! I’m so glad I got it, it’s fast, light, and small but not too small.

It has nice color images and great camera. I like it's flexibility. I prefer that the key board is attached instead of like the Microsoft Pro. Lots of storage space. The Geek squad was great transferring my data. Go buy one.

It’s lightweight and fast. Same specs as a MacBook Air but several hundred dollars less. The only thing is that the fingerprint scanner sometimes gives you a hard time and then you have to enter your password. Not a big deal though.

Operation is fast, battery life and charging are helpful, and the keyboard and display are first-rate. I'm still stumbling over new features and wish Lenovo (or Best Buy) would have pointed out some of the key ones (tablet operation, camera and mic, for example). But we're back from our first trip using the Yoga 730 as our online support, and everything worked fine, from emails to websites plus managing photos. We'll keep learning as we embark on more travels.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 730-13. Be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then be sure all of the BIOS files and driver are up to date as well. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the device with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

It is perfect in terms of portability, ease of use, and has all features she would need to perform day to day functions. The keyboard is easy to use, the 2 in 1 form factor is great to act as a tablet as well. I use heavy applications such as Photoshop or Lightroom and I belive this laptop would not have an issue performing those tasks as long as there are not too many other applications running alongside it.
