He wanted something that was smaller, compact, and could be carried around without alot of weight in his backpack. It can be used as a tablet also, so that was right up his alley.

I recommend doing do so simply because other competitors have better options within the initial price point. Great for productivity, fast and light, there’s an open ram slot, fast Samsung ssd, and two thunderbolt usb-c ports! Power management could be better, but 4-6 hours is sufficient for what I’m doing.

To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. You can keep your laptop running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. I purchased an open box version and unfortunately returned. The reason for the return is many reviews indicate screen flickering issues. Since this was purchased as a gift and I didn't want the recipient to be disappointed I returned without opening the box. Too bad because it appears to be a great machine. Do some research prior to purchasing.

The color on screen is vibrant. The solid state had drive is large enough but the real benefit is the boot up time. No listening to the whirl and wait to minutes. Almost instantaneously.

This Is The All-In-One Laptop!

She creates and prints her custom business cards, thank you cards, and planning calendars. She creates & prints spreadsheets to track her customers & referrals. And she prints 4X6 Glossies to carry around in her portfolio for each of the latest events she has planned within the past 6 months. She and her husband share this awesome equipment with separate logins for the both of them to complete their college research papers and projects for his Architectural Engineering Degree and her Business & Marketing Degree. I call it the All-In-One Laptop because it also syncs with their notebooks for easy breezy data transfers! Their lives just got easier & less time consuming; especially with 6 & 3 year old baby girls and a 4 month old baby boy. Their time is precious! And so is this laptop!

Does a lot for a good price

Only thing is it seems to have a little bit of sensitivity issues--as in the mouse jumps around a lot when I am typing Word documents. Not sure what the deal is, maybe GeekSquad can help me out. Overall I'm super satisfied. Love how light wait it is, bring it to school with me daily without thinking twice. I don't really use the touch screen as much as I thought I would (yet) but maybe I'm just old school.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. However, my sound went out for over a week after an update with Microsoft/Lenovo. However, after Hurricane Florence cleared, the tech support at Lenovo promptly resolved my problem remotely. Also, my purchase experience in Best Buy was great. My store rep gave me a knowledgeable and thorough review of what my needs for my laptop were and matched me perfectly with my Lenovo. Would definitely recommend this Best Buy

Don't forget the full warranty though. No user serviceable parts to replace. When it goes it goes! Also - be sure you back up often - drive is not compatible outside the system.
