My only issue is I hate that when I want to use this as a notebook by flipping it I have to be careful of the keyboard. I hope the company comes out with a special case for people who use this laptop for mainly notebook purposes.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-13. When you convert this device into tablet mode, the keyboard and touchpad are turned off, so inadvertent contact with the keyboard and touchpad will not cause unwanted inputs.

Only used for web surfing, email and doc editing, so pretty basic needs but this 2 in 1 handles everything nicely. The battery life is great too. I got 8 hours out of it. Super portable.

A few issues early on but driver updates and some support software fixed it. Used while I travel so it is tuff enough to be hauled around. Works faster then my other lap tops I have purchased.

But it seems like every laptop has its own problems. Mine had a WiFi connection problem, but with the 1 year warranty I’m currently getting that fixed. The battery dies fast but also charges fast. I tried playing COD Warzone and the graphics card denied me to play so if you want to play games like this you should get a different laptop.

I explained to the clerk at BB exactly my needs, I would mainly use Microsoft office applications for my home office. I got the Lenovo home and the first thing I realized there were NO USB ports, only one of the new USB-C ports. I couldn’t plug in my wireless keyboard and mouse, couldn’t use my thumb drive to transfer files and couldn’t use my external CD drive, all things I mentioned I needed. Back to the store I went to buy the required adapter/hub. (Another $50-$100). Now that I am working on it I find that it drops the WiFi connection several times a day. I am less than 6 feet from the new router/modem that I purchased with the laptop. I gave it 3 stars because I can make it work, but it is not what I expected. The added cost and hassle of having to use and travel with the adapter/hub and the unreliability of the WiFi connections are a big disappointment.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 730-13 does have a standard USB 3.0 port. It is on the right side of the computer. You can connect any compatible USB-based device to the Yoga 730-13. With regard to WiFi, the Yoga 730-13 ships with the latest 5G 802.11AC frequency WiFi. If you are having connectivity issues, first, if you are using an older b/g/n router 802.11AC WiFi is backward compatible to these older frequencies, but be sure your router has the latest firmware updates available from the router manufacturer's web site for your router model. Second, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer and that all the BIOS files and communications drivers are up to date. You can easily do this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. Yes, it's a Windows OS but Microsoft does it right. It's a full operating system, not a tablet OS but a full robust OS with 8th generation Intel Core i5 technology providing tons of power in this small package. The 2 in 1 touch screen makes watching movies and playing games super worth it. The 8Gb of memory makes startup time and loading of files almost instantaneous. I thought about getting the Dell right next to it (on display) with the larger 15" screen. But quickly realized that it wouldn't fit in my laptop bag. Totally pleased with this purchase. Then I noticed it's Lenovo... I used an IBM ThinkPad for years (manufactured by Lenovo). The only con is the downward facing speakers which make hearing a little difficult. But it's okay.
