The size is perfect for taking it with me wherever I go. The price was good, My only complaint is that WiFi drives me crazy! It does not stay connected on a consistent basis.

It doesn’t exactly do a freeze frame but there is a sort of pause jump during the program. I recommended we take it in to be checked out. It’s too good quality of a machine to be doing that

I use it for designing on my cricut machine and maintaining household worksheets in excel. It is quick and reliable. There was a time where the updates were not downloading appropriately and I couldn't use all the functions which is where it lost a star.

To keep your computer running at its best and to make sure you have the latest updates on your computer, scan the device regularly with the Lenovo Utility software installed on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Good laptop but now having issues

He is liking it but suddenly last few weeks, we are having issues with the internet connections. In the middle of his school works, the laptop looses its internet connection and he has lost his homework. I initially thought it was router or my connection problem, but realized that no other phones laptops or other internet devices are disconnected when he is having issues. I rebooted the whole router and now renter connection but still having issues. Now I have passed the return period with Best Buy so I am stuck. I hope there is a solution for this problem, otherwise I will have to buy him a new laptop again, coz ITS NOT WORKING FOR HIM. Very very disappointed with a brand I thought was trustable.

Since this issue just developed recently, first be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. Folds all the way open like a tablet and can be used as such but it's very awkward having the keyboard on the bottom while trying to use as tablet. Still! SSD, tho not huge. Not bad for Windows.

Took it home and start installing and moving files to the new laptop. Everything seemed to be working fine until Monday 11/12 evening. I continued to work on it and the screen went black. I thought it went to sleep mode but nope... Hardset the laptop to reboot and then it was stuck in a loop with the Lenovo logo on the screen. No luck with different boot options by pressing control keys. Tried to reset the laptop by poking the small pin hole next to the head phone jack, no luck. The laptop turned on and just do nothing. Plugged into an external monitor and nothing on the screen.... What a waste of time and money. On my way to Best Nuy at 10;20am this morning and if they can get my files back, this is the last time I buy anything at Best Buy.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Windows 10 operating system on your Lenovo Yoga 730-13. Be sure any software you have installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Doing what it’s supposed to do

As of yet don’t know why. Has always come back after long or sometimes short periods. Also, fingerprint unlock not reliable. Annoying to need to click to get to a password unlock frame.

Posted .With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Not using for video processing, but handles everything else quickly and quietly. I did replace the drive with a 1TB drive cause I needed the space and The Geek Squad did that easily (If you do replace the drive, the standard don't buy the standard SSD, but do choose the M2 form), but otherwise this laptop is was just right for me. I was so please that I bought another for my grand daughter about 9 months after I bought mine. Do buy a bluetooth mouse because this computer only has 1 USB port..

Amazing and convenient laptop

The intel i5 processor works great and runs the laptop very efficiently. On a full charge; the laptop lasts more than an entire day on full use. The display is gorgeous; its an FHD display with vibrant colors and great contrast. Keyboard feels great and the touchscreen is also very nice... the key board is also backlit. It is super light and convenient; since I am a college student, it folds all the way through into a tablet form. For $800; this laptop is 100% worthit.
