Great laptop computer for travel

I used it primarily for e-mails and to organize my photos on google photo. Over the past two years as I added more photos it began to operate slowly due to its pentium processor. This new Lenovo yoga has the same smaller size that I like but also operates much faster since it has a much better processor and a solid state drive . Although it has great memory I added even more memory at additional cost since I have a ton of pictures. I am very pleased.

I've had it for a few weeks now and so far so good! The keys have sufficient travel and the track pad is amazing. Also, the hinges have just the right amount of resistance. I just attended a family reunion and am going thru 1,500 pics. Being able to swipe the screen to quickly review and delete pics makes culling down that pile of pics to just the keepers so easy. Try that with an Apple MBP! The best part is that I was able to get an open box for $674.

Unreliable Connectivity and Poor Sound Quality

Each time the machine goes to sleep, it loses its WiFi connection and has to be rebooted in order to connect again. It's ridiculous that a brand new machine has this problem and speaks volumes about Lenovo's commitment to quality control. Additionally, the speakers cannot achieve a listenable volume and battery life is far less than claimed. I really wanted to like this small, thin, light PC. I don't. Not at all.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 730-13. Be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Due Covid been working remotely and this laptop is perfect for what I need. Added a portable monitor building the perfect workstation. Great for working on the go, lightweight and compact fits anywhere. No problems loading multiple tabs. The battery life could be better but luckily I've been near a power source. Love the touch screen and the 2-1 feature. Overall happy with my purchase.

It is not a gaming machine by any means, but it has a fantastic display for any photo or video editing, and does a great job streaming video. Setup requires some technical expertise because the internet will keep disconnecting until you install a new driver. (My Best Buy salesperson gave me a card explaining the issue at the time of purchase.). But once the new driver is installed, the machine works flawlessly.

I'm not a gamer or anything like that. I needed a solid machine that could handle everyday functions of office type work and maybe some photo/video editing. This was a huge upgrade from my old Dell. The touchscreen is great especially when paired with a pen of some type. SSD is also a must for performance in my opinion. I have only been using this for a short period of time but I'm very happy.
