Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had issues with your Lenovo Yoga 730-13 having the screen go black. Resetting this computer back to original factory settings may correct this issue. Since you can not boot the computer, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I've not had any screen issues thankfully. WiFi is fine after updating. I mainly use this with a Razer Core X and an RTX 2060 and a 144hz monitor. I'm pushing this little thing and it's performing like a champ. Thunderbolt 3 at this price point is excellent. I do wish the RAM wasn't soldered on, would love to slap another 8GB in.

Posted .We are sorry you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 730-13. With regard to the device powering off by itself, first, be sure the battery is charged. Second, if you had the computer in your hands when it powered off, was the power button inadvertently pushed. If this is not the issue, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers on the computer. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
Easy to use and love the multi functionality

Great laptop with Critical Flaw

Unfortunately, they tend to die out after a year. I had this issue with my 910. With the 730, I ran into the issue many have, the wi-fi card was very unreliable, causing my wi-fi to drop out at the most inopportune times. If you feel comfortable replacing the wi-fi card and voiding your warranty, you may save a few hundred dollars for a bargain laptop, but it could cost you. Ultimately, spend a little more and get a longer-lasting laptop, or spend less and get a truly budget computer.

The limited number of USB ports has proved to be an issue. An there has been an issue with connectivity to the internet. Overall its a good computer.

One thing they should fix is the sharp edges. Probably the aluminum company lenovo works with didn't brush off or the assemble the housing perfectly.

Slightly larger keys than my Dell and with a quiet tactile feel. It doesn't have everything, more ports would be nice but what it does have works efficiently. You can't beat the price. If you need a household laptop without a mouse for say the kitchen, this one is a good choice.

Ask your salesperson to run the model in the Geeksquad forum for any known issues.

Great laptop for a great price.

I like how light the computer is. I'm able to travel long distance with this laptop. Having a lighted up keyboard helps to type a lot easier. The programs it came with are easy to maneuver. The battery last pretty long once fully charged. Overall the computer has help me with what I do. I thank my friend for recommending me this computer.
