Lenovo to me is so old-fashioned. The guys who help me choose a new laptop for my budget at Best Buy were so helpful and knowlegeable. They answered all my queries quickly and finally I chose the Lenovo Yoga. And the laptop did not disappoint. It was so easy to setup and after a few installations it is up and running.

Size 13 inch is perfect for use on your lap. Only issue is with the many extra programs loaded on the PC leading to slow internet on the device.

It is sleek, easy to use and very dependable. The only issue is the fingerprint recognition sign-on that does not always work, but that can be a work around with a pin #. Other than the one issue it is a great investment.

Keep your Yoga 730-13 running at its best, including the fingerprint reader, by being sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then updating all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Otherwise it seems like a great little machine, would consider buying it new, not open box.

The Wi-Fi connection won't work on startup, if you go to your device manager and change the settings for your Wi-Fi chip and turn off power saving on it. The computer will work perfectly fine.

Has usb and thunderbolt ports and is light weight. Trade off for thin profile and speaker quality, but still plenty loud. She loves it

Dolby Atmos works best with headphones, so for the best audio quality through the system speakers, be sure Dolby Atmos is turned off. You can do this by right clicking on the speaker icon in the bottom right of your Windows 10 screen.

I have some devices in my house that require firmware updates and it’s been a pain doing it as some of the devices are not Mac compatible. I was looking for a decent laptop that would be slim and easy to travel with. The batter life is more than adequate and the processor is fast and perfect. All in all a great laptop for the money.
