She is in middle school and needed a computer to do her homework and class projects. But she wanted something light that she could take to school also. The classes have limited computers and sometimes kids don't have access to them due to availability. The machine is powerful yet easy to use. perfect. it's a little expensive but worth it.

Warranty would have caused me to be with It a laptop for “6-8 weeks”. I YouTubed the laptop and there were several mentions of the same issue from a lot of people. Apparently the design is faulty: the wire that connects the main section to the monitor is placed where it gets pinched whenever the laptop is opened. Eventually this leads to permanent screen darkness.
