This is a decent deal for the money... as long as you can get it on sale. It's also slim and change charge via USB Type-C which are major advantages. The biggest downfall to this laptop is the experience with typing on the keyboard. There are so many other laptops in the same price range that offer a better keyboard, so if keyboards are important to you, you might not be the biggest fan of this keyboard.

This computer had all the right specs for a primary use laptop, and the metal case and USB C charging at this price is awesome!
I need to address one thing, the WiFi does not work properly out of the box. Lenovo should not have sent these computers out this way! Day one, this computer dropped WiFi every 10 minutes, it was unbearable! I was convinced that I was going to need to return it. Then I manually searched "update" in the search bar, did all the updates and it's worked flawlessly ever since.
The other minor complaint is the battery life. It will probably get you through a full day of work/school for the first year, but as battery life depletes, you'll be traveling with a charger full time. Luckily the charger and computer are a light weight and small bundle.
I would definitely buy this computer again, hopefully this will help other customers realize they do not need to return it.

You can easily keep all operating system software up to date on your Lenovo Yoga 730-13, including Windows 10 and all of the supporting BIOS files and drivers, by scanning the computer regularly with the Lenovo Utility software installed on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. The Yoga 730-13 ships with a 4CELL 48WH, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 10 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. I used to have a larger laptop, but when it was time to upgrade wanted a little smaller screen size so opted for this model after looking at some various competitor options. Very lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to fit in a backpack or other small bag, even with a case on. Sound quality seems alright, maybe a little quieter and slightly lower quality than my past laptop (which did have upgraded speakers so that could be a reason), but likely fine for the average user. Overall happy with my purchase

I bought the Lenovo Yoga 730-13 to replace a 3 year old laptop that was now struggling to run simple tasks such as web browsing and editing word/excel documents. The Yoga is a beautiful laptop that has sufficient power to easily complete tasks that I need to do.
Unfortunately, the screen started flickering 3 days after I bought it. It took me the following 2 days to finally return it after contemplating whether I should exchange it or return it. For an $830 computer I wasn't expecting this kind of issue and I didn't want to have the same issue later on if were to get it exchanged, so I returned it.
I did some extra research this time and bought the Lenovo ideapad 720s. Same Internals other than having a larger screen (non-touch), larger battery, upgradable single-dim RAM, and a dedicated low-end graphics card (MX150). I've been very happy with this laptop since then.
Lenovo has replied to many of the reviews here that the flickering issue is due to software. I believe that it is most likely a hardware problem and many folks on the Lenovo forums agree.

We are sorry to hear that you had a screen flicker issue with your Lenovo Yoga 730-13. This is easily accomplished by using the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. For the most part this laptop has delivered what it promised with very few glitches. The one concern is that, rarely, the touch screen seems to go crazy thinking it's getting touched repeatedly along a vertical line about a third from the left side of the screen. A restart fixes this, but it's pretty annoying when it ends up selecting a bunch of stuff that you didn't want, especially while typing.

Great Laptop that does all I need it to do. It's fast and snappy, offers good battery life (not great) the keyboard to me is just fine for my needs (productivity and emails) and the screen is sharp and detailed enough for media consumption. I paid $585 for an open box certified Lenovo Yoga 730 and it's offering the best bang for the buck over my $1200 Spectre x360. Yes the HP has an i7 and 512GB and a 4K screen. But for my needs, I did not need all of that power and performance.
If you need a laptop to edit huge photo files and possibly play games then get one of those i7's. However, if you are a student, a working professional or need a productivity computer then this is the one for you. Save yourself some hard earned cash and take a look at this laptop! I don't think that you will regret it.

I had to emergency purchase a new laptop for school when my old one quit working the week of finals! I have a hard time spending money on myself, and didn't know if paying extra for the touch screen option was worth it! Well, I AM GLAD I DID! I love the touch screen option for school, as well as just streaming netflix. I think my favorite thing about this computer is that it's lightweight, and I can carry it in an oversized purse, instead of having to carry a backpack and my purse! There is so many features on this laptop, that I haven't figured them all out yet, but I am so extremely happy that I decided to purchase this computer. Even my little sister fell in love with it- and went and purchased the same one!

I bought this laptop to use during college and I am already in love with it. You can turn the laptop into a tablet by flipping the screen back or keep it as a standard laptop. The touch screen is a really nice feature because I can just tap on something or enlarge my screen without having to use the keypad all the time. Also, I love how this laptop supports Windows Ink because now, I can use a stylus to take notes on OneNote when classes begin. In terms of the way the computer functions, it is very fast and responsive. Overall, I would highly recommend this laptop to students and anyone that needs a laptop for everyday use. You get a lot of bang for your buck because you get so many nice features for a laptop that isn't too expensive.

I purchased this laptop during Bestbuy's labor day sale. The salesman at the checkout counter warned me about the wifi signal dropping. Thank goodness I trusted my gut and purchased this laptop despite his warning. I trusted that Lenovo had come up with a fix for the issues. After I got the laptop home I updated Windows and the necessary drivers through Lenovo's computer support app. After updating, I did not experience any other issues. I love how the laptop folds in half into tent in tablet mode. These features make the laptop a more versatile device. I also love the aluminum case and the light-weight design which make it ultra portable. Overall I think this laptop offered the most features and power for the price!

It's a very lightweight and bang for buck especially considering the discounted prices at best buy, i was little confused between AMD processors vs Intel but best buy sales guys cleared confusion and helped me identify why Intel processors are so efficient due to software drives and why AMD while more powerful on paper due to physical cores but lackluster due to lack of software drivers.

I bought this laptop to use for school. The I5 with the sold state hard drive gives this machine snappy performance. The aluminum case is well built and solid with hardly any flex. The only flaws I have found are the speakers although sound good are quiet, and the palm rejection when writing notes could use some refinement. Over all I believe this is a great 2 In 1 for the money.

Amazing design, but my screen flickers in black and colorful lines. Started right after I got it brand new. I was not sure if it was because of apps I had on it or something, so I completely reset it. The results were the same. Still flickers sometimes, so I am not sure why, but I never dropped it or damaged it in any way. The flicker does not affect anything, but does get annoying.
