Stay AWAY! worst computer I've ever had!

When I brought it to the store, they said it needed an update to correct the problem, so we went home to complete the update. Surprise! the update did NOT work and we had to bring it to the store again... this time, they FINALLY agreed to resolve the problem... it has a one year manufacture warranty. It took 3 weeks for it to be repaired...hopefully, this will be better than the 1st 6 weeks of ownership. Completely disappointed with this product... Do not waste your money.

Amazing laptop

Amazing audio, it has a nice feel to it and it has been the best laptop I've ever had and it was available as soon as I decided I wanted a durable laptop. I already know this will be with me everywhere I go.

Determined after careful review of HP, Sony, and Acer that this would be the best choice for our needs. Couldn't be more pleased. Does what we expected. Good performance. Nice sound.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 730-13 ships with a 4CELL 48WH, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 10 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10, incompatible software will cause system problems and possibly will cause your battery to drain quicker. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686

From the description you provide of the issue, there may be BIOS files and drivers that need to be updated on your computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
Great simple portable laptop

Converting it to a tablet is simple and it is lighter than the Lenovo Chrome book I purchased a few months ago. The only thing I would criticize is that it only has the two USB ports, I would have like to have at least one additional.

You can keep your laptop running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Yoga 730

Unfortunately I found the keyboard layout somewhat awkward. Also when I flipped the computer to use in tablet mode, it just felt clunky and uncomfortable. Did not feel as thin as I thought it would in tablet mode. Great computer for great price otherwise is those things I mentioned aren't a concern for you.

A little advice: do NOT buy any lenovo products

This laptop is a nice size, it looks sleek, and I didn’t experience any lagging while using it. The touch screen isn’t something I really cared about at first, but it’s a great thing to have! However, the cons greatly outweigh the pros and are the reason why I will never purchase from this brand again. The issues really began when my laptop hinge broke, which in turn broke the corner of my screen as well. The laptop is too fragile for me to use now. I’m a student with all of my classes online, so its pretty important for lenovo to help me repair my laptop especially during this time. Also, I’ve only owned this laptop for 8 months so I would expect it to last much longer before experiencing damage. Lenovo’s customer service is awful. They completely ignored my emails to them, where I sent many pictures and articles proving that the damage I experienced was due to a manufacturing error. The right hinge did not have the proper support, causing it to break. I reached out to them on other social media platforms. They finally responded on Twitter. At first, they told me to find a repair center specifically for their brand. Okay, I did that...the nearest one is 2 1/2 hours away!! How am I going to send a damaged, fragile laptop to a different location through mail? I can’t close the laptop at all since the hinge is broken. Two hours is a long way to go for this, but I was desperate. I reached out to the center, but they don’t even fix my model. What?? So how am I supposed to fix my laptop? Of course, Best Buy is not doing repairs at the moment so I had no options to really fix my laptop. I continued to ask Lenovo for some sort of help. Finally, they agreed to “escalate” my case. It’s been weeks and they still haven’t updated me at all. I ended up purchasing another laptop, a much more affordable hp, and I completely regret ever purchasing Lenovo. Lesson learned, never again. What made it even worse is that many other customers have experienced the same sort of damage and have had horrible luck with their customer service. If you want to buy from a company that is going to help you solve your laptop issues, Lenovo is not for you.

He is tech savvy so he transferred everything from my old one to this one and I love to use this one. It has everything you would want in a computer for a senior citizen.

I did have to clean this myself and take old stickers off, but overall it was in pretty decent shape. There is one small dent on a corner from where it looks like someone dropped it, but it functions great and work like normal!

Being a 2-1 makes it versatile. Performance is remarkable , monitor has excellent color and clarity, features are good for the price.
