Terrible flickering issue makes it unusable!

It's a great size, solid build. Would be great-- EXCEPT, a terrible monitor flickering issue (horizontal lines pulsing and scrolling, then the screen goes dark) has made this laptop unusable. It is clearly a design flaw. I could adjust the screen tilt slightly, or press down a bit on the monitor to make it temporarily stop. A few months ago before the warranty expired, I considered sending it in for repair, but it would take weeks and I can't be without my computer that long. Lenovo support claimed it was from a Windows 10 update said to try a BIOS reinstall and a driver update, which I did but it did not fix it. Now it' happening constantly and I can't use it. This laptop is not inexpensive. Yet this is apparently a widespread problem for this particular laptop from what I've read. I saw a you tube video that showed how to adjust the cable. Might give it a try before I buy a different brand. I'm using my old HP to write this review!!!
