I have only two complaints for this laptop - first the speakers are not very loud & many youtube videos out there do you not have great volume so if you are a student & depend on videos consider external speakers, second the fan can get loud & high pitched, which is obnoxious in class. i adjusted some settings for this so its possible to stop it, but you sacrafice CPU speed.

I bought mine for my computer science classes and it is very fast and has not let me down at all. The only one issue I have I would say is the battery life. But maybe that is because I use it a lot. Other than that, it is a great product.

This model ships with a 4CELL 48WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 10.5 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. I purchased for my insurance agency, I wanted something light, fast, easy to use and that I could sign up e-applications with clients. If I'm on the road, it serves very well for watching youtube and Netflix as well. The Lenovo, is very fast, very light, easy to use and high quality at a very affordable price. Honestly, there isn't much more that I could have asked for.

When I went in the Lenovo was on sale. It was nearly identical and almost $400 less so I changed last minute, Great decision. When I first got it I would lose wifi connection. Lenovo tech support solved right away. They even called me a few times within the next few weeks to make sure I was satisfied. I have had it a few months and it has been great, Very fast and light weight. Exactly what I was looking for.

This works best with headphones, so if you are listening through the system speakers, be sure you turn off Dolby Atmos for the best speaker audio. Regarding the screen brightness, the IPS screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD) and a brightness level of 300 nits. Be sure you have auto brightness turned off and set the brightness level to 100% to get maximum screen brightness. Great computer after 2 returns

Customer service was very kind and supportive in helping me with the process of returning and exchanging the laptop the two times I was there. The first laptop I had was overheating and not keeping a charge. The second one I exchanged was as well not keeping battery and would had multiple glitches while using different applications. I am on my third laptop and have had no problems so far. The Yoga has multiple features I enjoy. The 2 in 1 screen, the screen display as well as the speed but I do wish it had a cd player as well as an hdmi output.

I had trouble with the touch pad on my previous one, but the touch pad on this computer is easy to use and it does what i want it to. The keyboard is small and I need to get used to it. Works great after trading in

However, the first laptop I had had to be traded in due to the fact that an issue on the laptop was causing it to drop its wifi connection every 5 minutes or so. When I brought the laptop in, I had the choice of paying around $150 to $200 to repair the issue or I could exchange the laptop for a new one. I chose to exchange the laptop for the same model hoping it would be a one time issue. Luckily, I have not had any issues after trading it in and I am very happy with it. The laptop runs smoothly, has a great touchscreen feature which I find extremely convenient, and is overall a great laptop!

This issue is easily corrected by simply updating to the latest version of Windows 10, then also updating the supporting BIOS files and drivers as well. This is easily accomplished by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. This model seemed to have all the features I wanted (I5, 256G SS drive, use as a tablet, etc.) at a better price point than the Surface. Also, since the works are not behind the screen it seemed it would not allow the screen separation that plagued my last two tablets. So far it has performed admirably. Very easy to setup. Good battery life, nice screen, light weight. Good inputs.

You really need to be cognizant of where the vents are as blocking them can cause overheating as expectd. The wifi was the only part that seemed lacking a bit, it required a little more signal strength than some other devices I have. The 2-in-1 nature is well executed and the hinges are solid.
